"Bwthyn Nant Bach is a beautifully converted barn that has clearly had a lot of love, time and money put into it. The owners were very friendly people who wanted to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. I spent Christmas 2018 here with my family and we all had a lovey time (2 Adults 2 Teens), we've already spoken about doing it again, this was our first cottage holiday, really impressed. The surrounding area is stunning with access to walking trails less than 1/2 mile from the front door. The closest pub (The Goat Inn) is a 2 mile walk but can be accessed by using the walking trail so no need to walk country lanes, its a lovey pub too with great food. Porthmadog is a good location for your shopping needs and if you get a chance Criccieth Castle was a great visit, both are about 7-8 miles from the cottage. Wales Cottage Holidays were also friendly and helpful to deal with, they did a great job of answering all my questions before booking. I would highly recommend both this property and Wales Cottage Holidays."

"We enjoyed the style, space and comfort of the accommodation . The location is perfect for a centre to visit the coast, snowdonia and Anglesey with a choice of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance making self catering a pleasure . On the couple of rainy days we stayed in the house we enjoyed using the balconies and taking in the views and proximity to the sea. Two small points for improvement - we were two couples and found the bed in the second bedroom a little small. Also the plates are either very big or very small - the larger ones struggling to fit in the slimline dishwasher. However overall we really enjoyed our stay at no. 6, the welcome gifts of wine, chocs, cake and flowers were really appreciated as was being welcomed in person by the owners. It is certainly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in."

"I stayed at Ynys Wen with 5 family members in April. It was a very comfortable let, and we enjoyed our stay. It was quite cold, as it snowed on the mountains on our first night there, and I'm pleased to say the heating worked very well. Some of us were from the Southern Hemisphere and needed a bit of warmth! The lounges were both very comfortable. However, the remote for the DVD player in the main lounge did not work, which made it a bit inconvenient. I also had a problem with the shower in the main bathroom. I could only get hot or cold water, nothing in between. I'd also suggest some shelves for toiletries in the showers and bathrooms. The WiFi coverage was spotty, as soon as more than one device was connected. Otherwise, lovely."

"We spent a weekend in Caernarfon as a base for fell walking in Snowdonia. Porth Yr Aur Bach was a great location, easy to find inside the city walls and it had everything we needed. The property is well laid out for big groups, with two rooms have two sets of single beds so for six blokes sharing it was spot on. Parking is a little awkward, you have to drive around the city walls to find it and hope there's a space next to the Anglesey pub. Other than that you're right in the centre of Caernarfon so can stroll to pubs and restaurants a-plenty and there's a big Morrisons just down the road too if stocking up on supplies. The owners are friendly and are just across the road if you need anything."

"Located just inside the city wall, immediately giving access to the promenade along the Menai shore, this apartment is a lovely 3 bed arrangement with a lovely spacious bedroom on the top floor and two bedrooms on the first floor. The sitting room is comfortable with a TV/freeview/ DVD (nice selection of Dvds) and a well equip[ped kitchen. Plenty of crockery, pans etc and a welcome bottle of wine on arrival. Bed comfortable, fistures and fittings good quality. The owners are helpful and immediately across the road. 5 minutes walk to the centre, less to the castle, and a few minutes walk along to the harbor complex. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return"
