"Great location for exploring the Welsh hills and Anglesey, and comfortable cottage with good heating.Biggest problem was the lack of car access to the house which was a bit vague in the directions in saying one should park in the layby before trying to get to the driveway. It was also very difficult to find and we had to ask various neighbours where the house was before we found it tucked away down a drive way. The reality on the parking is that a neighbour with apparent parking rights stopped our car access to the driveway on the first day and kept her car there until we left to prevent any car access to the house or ability to turn the car. This was a problem as we has a partially sighted and physically disabled relative and the access was therefore around 100 yards from the layby negotiating a steep and uneven driveway. Baggage had to be carried all this way which is an inconvenience, but the main problem was access for the less firm and could seriously disrupt the holiday letting for the more infirm or less able tenants, and needs a warning from the landlords. We muddled through, but it was not ideal for our family member and us, and the neighbour's intransigence and deliberately parking in the way was a shock - the neighbour had over 15 yards of drive they could have parked in to allow the cottage tenants access to the house and reverse in the narrow driveway, so there is a neighbour problem.Once this problem is notified to potential tenants and/or resolved, the cottage will be a great location and place to stay for N Wales, Anglesey, and hills enthusiasts. With the furniture, the kitchen is lovely and cosy and dining table and comfy chairs are good and solid but attracted a good sense of humour each day in having to climb over the chairs or under the table to get past each other as the table and chairs are wedged into a very narrow space and do not allow people to pass each other on either side of the table."

" We've loved our week in Llanberis. The cottage owner Carl was very friendly on the telephone prior to arrival and as promised all bedrooms had fresh bedding and the house was lovely and clean and smelt lovely. Towels were also included in the price, all laundered beautifully but could've been a little bigger really to avoid the inevitable 'hipflash' on the landing to anybody passing. The cottage is in dire need of some new glasses and mugs in the kitchen, apart from that we were more than happy with the facilities. Our only real gripe was the discomfort of one of the double beds (ours) in the long thin front room, the other two doubles were really comfortable. The main bedroom with ensuite was beautiful and the bedroom with 3 singles was great for a few children. The wifi wasn't particularly strong but this could've been due to the weather. The TV was really dated, the picture and sound wasn't great. We WILL book to stay here again however. The cottage is so lovely, spacious (the photos don't do it justice) and clean. The garden is massive and the dogs loved it. The kitchen is huge and we cooked for the masses a few nights here very easily using the big pots and pans provided. There are 2 fridges and a freezer so heaps of storage space for your shopping - we booked a Tesco delivery for an hour after arrival and it was brilliant! "

" 5 mature adults, Fri - Monday celebrating birthdays. Fantastic location overlooking the water and a great layout all round. The complex is gated to cars but bizarrely accessible by anyone on foot from outside. Disappointed in that my car was scratched whilst there! If only pedestrians were limited too! It's right next to 3 restaurants in the complex, The Galeri, a Far Eastern fusion restaurant and a Premier Inn Table Table. Beyond that you are literally 5 minutes walk along the harbour and through the castle/town walls to places like Wal and The Black boy (both excellent). The castle itself is in spitting distance of both. March was not exactly the best time to stay as everywhere was quiet and some pubs shut at 8 can you believe? We had a great time in the apartment though and it's well kitted out and clean with a well appointed open plan kitchen, large screen TV in the lounge and separate downstairs utility and office. Asda and Morrisons supermarkets are a two minute walk and there is a petrol station almost right outside the complex. Wifi was good too but water pressure in the showers was weak I'm afraid. Would definitely stay in the apartment again although 'in mid-high season' maybe to take advantage of the area a little more "

"When the clouds break the scenery is beautiful. Unfortunately at 700 ft above sea level, we spent a considerable amount of time in a cloud! The hot tub reduced the impact of the cloud on the holiday. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The cottage was well equipped. Plenty of storage in bedrooms. The kids enjoyed a shower. The only blot on the shower use is the timing of the hot-water. Teenagers do not like to get up before 10 am!The access to Netflix was a welcome experience. When the weather was poor and the family was tired of touring, Netflix and the hot tub helped fill the void. The beds are little firm and low (but I am 6' 5").It's a 15 minute drive to Caernarfon. The walk to the town is mainly hill. The bus to Caernarfon stops a short walk away from the cottage. So many places to visit. The locals were only too willing to help us learn welsh and very warm and welcoming. The owners are on hand should you have an issue. They are very friendly and helpful.Book the Snowdon train before you visit. As it can be fully booked up-to a month in front. We would definitely book again as there is so much to still do in the area and the people are fantastic. Doilch."

"We enjoyed the style, space and comfort of the accommodation . The location is perfect for a centre to visit the coast, snowdonia and Anglesey with a choice of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance making self catering a pleasure . On the couple of rainy days we stayed in the house we enjoyed using the balconies and taking in the views and proximity to the sea. Two small points for improvement - we were two couples and found the bed in the second bedroom a little small. Also the plates are either very big or very small - the larger ones struggling to fit in the slimline dishwasher. However overall we really enjoyed our stay at no. 6, the welcome gifts of wine, chocs, cake and flowers were really appreciated as was being welcomed in person by the owners. It is certainly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in."
