"Thank you for a lovely stay at MAST cottage: a beautifully decorated and equipped home from home, with so many thoughtful touches which added to the comfort of our stay. The cottage is very well-equipped, with plenty of glasses, good quality crockery and utensils. The kitchen provides an excellent selection of pots and pans for cooking, with a good-sized fridge-freezer and dishwasher. We really appreciated the beautiful garden, with comfortable outdoor seating: the planting is an absolute joy! We could relax, knowing our little dog was safe as the fencing is secure and garden fully enclosed. It is so nice to come to a property which is truly pet-friendly, with doggy treats and towels! The beds are comfortable and bathroom facilities all function easily, with plentiful hot water. The downstairs bedroom ensured that a disabled member of our party was fully included. This was out second visit to MAST cottage and we will look forward to our return: walks from the door and a well-stocked local shop, a range of shops and restaurants/cafes made for a very enjoyable long weekend. It is actually more spacious than the photos suggest, with a superb open plan living space, complemented by a delightful conservatory."

"Pros: Lovely grounds (good grassy area for kids games) and nice outdoor area for eating if weather permits.Great kitchen/diner area - big table, big fridge freezer, large kitchen top area for preparing meals. Dishwasher worked well. Wi-fi worked well.Well supplied with crockery/utensils (except see below).Adult bed was comfortable and adult room had lots of storage space.Very helpful and friendly hosts (including the cat).Cons:Sofas were not very comfortable. Television needs to be much bigger (and smarter in this day and age). Toaster needs to be bigger (would not completely toast a standard sized slice of bread and you couldn't fit a Warburtons crumpet in it!). We were always running out of teaspoons (perhaps another 4 would suffice). Kids said their beds were not very comfortable and their room was rather small with two beds squeezed in it.Oil burner leaked over the floor during prolonged rain.Independent control over the radiators would be a bonus (they are controlled from the main house.)"

"Myself, my husband and my two young children stayed at Swift Cottage for a week in May 2014. The cottage is ideally situated for Peppa Pig World, the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, Southampton and Winchester. The cottage is fully equipped and nicely presented. It was lovely of the owners to leave milk and a cake for our arrival and arrange for a travel cot for our baby son. The cottage itself was spotless and it was great that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom. We would definitely return to this cottage as it is peaceful and has everything you need. Tesco and Sainsbury’s are just a short drive away. Don’t forget a washing up cloth and some washing up liquid."

"We arrived later than planned but was able to get in the cottage after following our instructions. From this point on we were delighted. The cottage was clean and tidy and in a very good condition. There was a lemon cake and a bottle of milk waiting for us and all the tea and coffee we could drink. We did not meet the owners at any time, we would like to have thanked them personally and apologise for the mug that was broken. The cottage is super warm, we had to open doors and windows to cool down. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and stay there again if we are ever that way again."

"Come away for a quiet week during half term, that's exactly what we got. Welcomed with a delicious home-made cake, lovely clean cottage suitable for 4 people. 1 double and 2 singles, both with ensuites. Plenty of living space for us and our young toddler, especially the washing machine. The owners are friendly and helpful, offering any help. Local farm and stables really nice, not overly busy so it doesn't not cause too much noise. Good location with local attractions close distances, enjoyed a visit to Marwell Zoo centre, Southampton City centre and Poultons Park."
