"we stayed here for a 2 week last 2 weeks of July, we used this a a base as we spentt a lot of time watching the Commonweath games in Glasgow, this was a great place for location as we had a 20 min drive into Dumbarton were we caught the train into Glasgow the first few days we explore this beautiful area and the annexe is perfectly situated to do that . The accommodation is a home from home, very clean, comfortable beds A great feature is that they have here is the full Sky package very rare for a Rental cottage. The location is perfect for train rides into the highlands it is a 5 min walk to Tarbet and Arrochar railway station were we caught the train to Fort william what a treat that was the views were breath taking. Also you can see the Sleeper train go past the cottage it goes south in the evening and passes the cottage at about 7am in the morning going north. . Also the wild life is great we saw the red squirrels regularly from our bedroom window along with a great veiw of the local birds that visited the garden.Next time we visit this part of Scotland we we be using this cottage again.Next time we visit this part of Scotland we we be using this cottage again. Can't fault it even when the nearest supermarket is a few miles away."

"Myself and husband stayed here for a week at the end of June. The annexe is perfectly situated to explore this beautiful area. The accommodation is a home from home, very clean, comfortable beds, with all the wee extra touches like toilet roll, hand wash, washing up liquid etc already there for you, together with a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and milk to get you started, not forgetting a bottle of wine and shortbread too! A great TV with sky + an added bonus with both the World Cup and Wimbledon to watch! Situated between Tarbet and Arrochar (ten mins walk to Tabet and about twenty five to Arrochar with a fair few eating places dotted about. The train station is a few minutes walk up behind the property and there are regular buses to all the different areas. Lots of wildlife at the annexe with its own private patio at the side - seen red squirrels regularly. So peaceful and quiet even though it's situated near the main road and railway station with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. One tip though - the nearest big supermarket is 17 miles away so stock up before you go. There are a couple of village shops in Arrochar for bits and pieces."

"Visited during October half term as we wanted a place to do local Munros. Good location for Arrochar Alps, Crianlarich Hills and Ben Lomond. The cottage itself is half the ground floor of a large d'état he'd building with nice views of nearby hills. The owners live in the other 3/4 of the building but we barely noticed them and the space we had was very large for just two people. The cottage was as expected but with lots of nice little touches - from a fair bit of coal and wood to free wi-fi, wine on arrival and supplies of things like dishwasher powder and cooking oil. Price also seemed fair given the time of year. When we arrived there were two small defects with the house - a broken door handle and toilet seat - which we told the owner about as we left to go out on the first morning mainly so we weren't charged for damage. Yet by the time we got back a few hours later both had been fixed! Very impressed. Otherwise everything was in very good condition. Would visit again if I had any more Munros left to do in the area!"

"This is a small but well-equipped cottage, located up a quiet lane just outside the town centre of Taynuilt. It was perfect for me travelling alone, and would be fine (if a little snug) for a couple. The cottage genuinely does have a mountain view - the front window looks out directly to the Stob Dearg (Taynuilt Peak) top of Ben Cruachan (see photo). This is a bit more reliable than the weather forecast for gauging the conditions on the hills! The cottage has good heating (although I barely needed it in mid-July), a decent shower, comfortable bed, and plenty of kitchen equipment. The front room recliner armchairs are also very comfortable, although the wicker table-and-chair set is a bit small. There's an outside sitting area behind the cottage with a bench and some chairs, plus a clothes line for drying (although the cottage doesn't have a washing machine). Although there's no wi-fi, I had good 4G mobile signal so didn't need it - check with your provider, of course, but Taynuilt seems to be well covered."

"We'd a wonderful week in this nice and tranquil cottage with our family. Many thanks for the warm welcome and the welcoming drink and the milk for our firts coffee in the accommondation. We'd several days out in the beuatiful landscape and climbed up the Cobbler at Arrochar. During our walks we had enlightening and exiting moments. We enjoyed the fascinating views. We loved to visit Glasgow, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum as well as the Botanic Gardens. Furthermore we had a lot of fun to watch the birds and red squirrels outside the lovely cottage next to the kitchen. Our friends from Glasgaow were also very excited from the cottage which visited us once in the afternoon. Thank you for an unforgettable week of our holiday! Many Thanks, The Bertels Family from North Germany."
