"We arrived at the property quite late at night and were all very keen to explore our home for the Christmas week. This meant there was 11 of us roaming the house investigating all of the rooms turning on all the lights as we went. It was somewhat amusing when we found ourselves in complete darkness. The lights kept tripping the fuse. We contacted the property management company who very quickly arranged for an engineer to attend the property. After the first night it didn’t happen again. This was our first time away at Christmas and being such a large family we were worried that the property might not have all of the pots, pans, crockery etc needed for the humongous Christmas Day feast we cook up, we were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was very well equipped. The property is HUGE and perfectly suited our family of 11 people and 2 dogs. The kitchen / dining area was perfect for socialising as was the beautiful lounge, especially in the evening with the open fire roaring. The house was always warm despite being right on the beach, we had a couple of really blustering days but you’d never of known it inside the house. This brings me on to the location.... WOW the pictures do not show just how close you are to the beautiful sandy bay. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along with a hot cup of tea. It literally takes you 60 seconds to be out of the back gate and onto the beach. Living in a big city our dogs don’t often get to experience the freedom of running on a beach but this is by far the most dog friendly beach space we’ve ever encountered. Dozens of dogs on the beach everyday. The highlight of the property was the wonderful welcome package that had been left for us on top of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree amongst other festive decorations and the dining table all laid out ready for Christmas dinner. It all looked so beautiful, such a lot of effort had clearly gone in to it. There were a dozen wrapped gifts, 2 bottles of Buck’s Fizz, bottles of flavoured water, x2 doggy treat presents - even Christmas crackers on the table. It all was greatly appreciated. There was also tea, coffee, sugar & milk made available for us too. The beds were super comfy and having fresh towels available saved us having to bring them from home.Tucked away in the utility room was plenty of towels for when the dogs came in from the beach and dog blankets too (though we brought our own). Everything you can imagine you’d ever need was available in this property. The lines of communication between us and the property management folks was amazing (especially given it was Christmas time) and we cannot thank you enough for making us feel so welcome. We cannot wait to come back. Happy New Year to you all."

"We were all happy with house when we arrived. There were a number of disabled people in our party and the the house was spacious enough to accommodate their needs. However the ground floor rooms where extremely cold as all the windows were very draughty and the radiators were not working properly. The double room on the ground floor was absolutely freezing all weekend, the radiator wasn’t working properly and the window/patio doors were extremely draughty. We understand there’s nothing can be done about the weather, however the maintenance of the building is a different matter. Considering the house is on the coastline these issues need urgent attention. The couple using that particular room had 3 duvets on the bed!! It was so cold. The other ground floor bedrooms were cold too because the windows were so draughty. The position of the house, right in the center of the bay, had amazing views from the lounge on the first floor."

"Ty Gywn is a wonderful spacious cottage located not too far from Menai Bridge. There was five of us holidaying at the cottage and everyone agreed it was a wonderful location. The cottage is located, in what feels like, the middle of nowhere within 10acres of gardens, most of which are accessible to those staying in the cottage. Our dog loved being able to run around without a lead.We found the cottage clean and tidy with plenty of hot water and a porch area to dry/clean off on the way in after experiencing the lovely Welsh weather. My only minor point to raise is that there is a shower in the master bedroom's ensuite, but the main bathroom, which is downstairs, doesn't have a shower. For those that struggle to live without social media, WiFi access was provided but mobile phone access (on EE at least) is patchy in the house. All on all a great holiday location, which we are hoping to go back to."

"We’d been to Anglesey several times before and love it there. Unfortunately I didn’t book early enough to get our usual cottage so had to look for another. We love Newborough, with the beautiful beach, and have relatives at Aberffraw so we knew the area we wanted. Also I wanted to pay a similar price to our previous cottage. Cil Haul was perfect for us. It’s not out in the middle of nowhere like we would normally choose but it was so quiet and we still had wonderful views of the mountains and the Menai Strait. It was a short drive (or very long walk) to the forest and beach, the local shop and chip shop were at the end of the street. Cil Haul is very spacious and well equipped. It was just the two of us but there was plenty of room for a larger group. Although it was so close to the centre of the village, it felt very private. We would happily stay there again."
