What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Scourie To Rent.

"We enjoyed the nightly visits from the badger and pine martens. We have never seen so many Roe deer in one area. The beach at Achmelvich is beautiful and worth it's no. 1 beach award. The dogs loved their stay especially the local and not so local beaches at Clachtoll, Clashnessie, Achanaird and Durness. The popularity of the NC500 has ruined the experience for us as we visited previously in '90's when single track roads were everywhere and the idiots in their sports cars know nothing about the true Highlands. It's an excuse for bad drivers to excel in their badness! Loved our stay but won't be returning anytime soon but hope everyone who does stay will continue to look after the garden visitors. The treated woodworm is a bit off putting and the headroom upstairs is an issue if your 6' 4"!!"

"If youre looking for a base from which to explore the fantastic otherworldness of Assynt, then you need look no further. As previous reviews have stated, this cottage has it all-ive stayed in many cottages over the years and this is the one I'll be returning to. After days out exploring,it was wonderful to walk back through that door into the welcoming comfort of S22858 Cottage then spend time waiting for and subsequently watching the Deer and Bats which visit every night. I loved every second of my time here.I'm writing this a week after returning home and everywhere i look i can still see that beautiful place. Would i rebook? A resounding YES."

"Cottage was very cold when we arrived at 7pm after a 10 hour journey as all the heating was off. There was dirty washing in the washing machine and a half eaten tub of margarine as part of our welcome pack. Standard of cleaning was poor with dirty cup marks on coffee table. Some of the fixtures, fittings and appliances didn't work. The flies were a nuisance in the bedrooms. That said the location is really nice, close to a lovely beach. Sadly the road to the cottage was closed during daylight hours for the week of our stay making access impossible for much of the time. This was due to on going water works in the area which we didn't know about."

"Second visit and the cottage is still as well maintained as last year, still as clean. The weather was better this year so the veiws topped last years which is saying something. it has to be one of the best places on earth to go and relax. totally epic veiws, short walk to the beach and even the drive up the west coast is one of the best experiences you will have in a car. A trip to S78424 cant be faulted, well, except that it is only temporary.Great value for money, good kitchen to keep the cost down too.Great for the soul, worth every penny at many times the price and I will be back for round 3 same time next year!!!!"

"The location of S78424 is excellent. When we arrive (in bright and warm sunshine) there was complete silence around us, with sensational views across the bay to the distant highlands. The cottage is completely private with no other houses overlooking you.The cottage was very clean, relatively spacious and well furnished. There was no tumble dryer available, but I believe this may be being addressed. The location is well away from people and amenities but we were very happy with this!A lovely holiday and we would be very happy to return."
