What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Rochester To Rent.

"The cottage was lovely, clean and well appointed. there were flowers and a packet of biscuits waiting for us on our arrival. The heating system was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and left you to do your own thing but were very approachable for help and advice. Although the fridge in the cottage has a small freezer the hosts were very willing to share their large freezer with you. The surrounding area was the beautiful Northumbrian countryside. Less than 20 miles to the seaside and many places of interest easily accessible. The local pub (1 Mile approx. away) does excellent food and drink. The local village shop (3 mile approx. away) is well stocked and offers a dining area offering cooked food etc. There is an Otterburn Mill outlet selling clothing and gifts is in the village also offering snack food. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the area and the friendliness of the residents and would recommend a visit."

"Wonderful location and we both enjoyed our stay at Woodside for the two nights that we hired the cottage for in December. We were married on the grounds inside a beautiful church and ceremony was just magical. You must endeavour to visit Dode Church during your stay and take in the breathtaking views inside and out. There are some lovely walking areas for a good old ramble, a few local village pubs serving good food and at the end of the day you can have a relaxing soak back at the cottage in the hot tub which we enjoyed. Although there is no mobile phone reception due to poor signal there is a payphone at the cottage that can be used if needed. We would definitely go back again!"

"Amazing views from cottage. Super clean. Super comfortable. Close to pretty much most stuff in Northumberland. Our kids 5&7 loved it. The owners were fantastic, they were really good with the kids and the children were free to explore all of the grounds and we didnt need to worry about them being quiet. The owners live on site and are there if you need them and also great to have a chat with. But also happy to leave you alone to get on with your holiday. I put out the kids washing to dry but it rained, when we returned it had been dried and folded for us!!! When we return to Northumberland we will be staying here again!"

"This is a listed building which tastefully retains a lot of original features and successfully combines a modern / cottage kitchen with antique artefacts. Lovely comfortable beds and an oversized farmhouse kitchen table easily seats all guests. There is also plenty of electrical sockets in the kitchen (and workbench space) which accommodated our two baby sterilisers and coffee maker! We parked three cars in the designated parking space behind the cottage without any trouble. After breaking the Davinci Code, the WIFI was good for the remote location. Would definitely recommend booking."
