What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Redruth To Rent.

"I was slightly nervous driving to our holiday cottage due to the area being built up with mostly industrial estates. It wasn't the beautiful Cornish scenery I was dreaming of for our holiday retreat. I was more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the house. You could not imagine that this beautiful house, was nestled away and all modern day buildings disappeared and did not affect any of the stunning views. The owner, Jane, met us at the house. She was warm, hospitable and friendly and showed us around the house. She had even laid out a beautiful Cornish cream tea for our arrival. The house is beautiful, full of character and lovingly restored. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The beds we very comfortable and bed linen and towels wee provided. I would more then recommend S82022, we will certainly be returning"

"The barn was very well equipped and clean. We received an enthusiastic welcome from the owner and an extremely detailed show round of the barn. We thought her instructions were a bit too much after an 8 hour drive and we were given an extensive list of do’s and don’ts which did have some negative impact on our ability to relax and feel at home. On another note we specifically booked this cottage as it stated pub within 1 mile , there is no pub within 1 mile. The owner was however, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about travelling around the area and other pubs. Regarding our 2 dogs it states pets allowed however, we were not allowed to leave them in while we went out , the owner did however offer to dog sit."

"We have recently visited this little cottage in Porthtowen and were really impressed. The cottage allows dogs and was one of the main reasons we stayed here. But it was very dog and child friendly. The owners lives next day however we only saw them once or twice but could pop round of we wanted more eggs. There was fresh flowers on arrival, eggs and even emergency dog food! The place was very clean and has a 2 car drive. The only down side is that nothing is really walkable to get to. Porthtowen is about a 2-3 mile drive and has a lovely beach. But you do have to drive to get to places. Would defiantly stay here again!"

"Clean, well equipped cottage in an ideal location. The owners live next door and were extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage was both pet and child friendly and the owners also left finishing touches such as eggs, milk, wine and flowers on arrival. Fantastic butchers close by with amazing Cornish pasties and also a local bakery with homemade cakes. Location was ideal for touring and Porthtowan beach is great for surfing or relaxing. We will be re-booking next year and highly recommend this cottage."

"This is a great little cottage for a couple, in a peaceful area of Cornwall. One of the best equipped cottages we've stayed in and a good central location for getting about. The bed was really comfy so we slept well. The only thing stopping me giving this property 10 out of 10 was the appalling Wi-Fi. If you stood in the bedroom as close to the neighbouring property as possible then it was just about usable. You'll be able to access your email, but little else."
