Tywyn 2 miles. This inviting holiday lodge is situated on the delightful Woodlands Holiday Park, set amidst the natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park, two miles from the town of Tywyn. The lodge is a great base for families looking for a rural getaway with stunning mountain scenery right on the doorstep. The living area comprises of a well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting room, where you can relax after a tiring day exploring the region. There are two bedrooms at this Welsh lodge, including a double and children’s bunk, along with a bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. Outside there is a small patio area with a picnic bench where you can sit and enjoy the picturesque mountain views and tranquil setting. On-site you can find a heated outdoor swimming pool which will definitely be a hit with the kids, along with a licensed country club where you can enjoy a drink or meal with your loved ones. Whether you are looking for activities or simply relaxation you are sure to find plenty on offer in the area. Anglers can take advantage of the superb fresh water fishing while keen walkers will enjoy exploring Bird Rock (the most inland nesting area for cormorants in the UK), Cader Iris and Cardigan Bay, which is also perfect for mountain biking. The town of Tywyn is a Victorian seaside resort with a long stretch of sandy coastline and sand dunes which you can admire when you walk along the promenade. Further afield, the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey must be visited, with its quaint streets, shops, restaurants, lovely harbour front and sandy beach. With plenty to fill your days, you will look forward to getting home and relaxing in the lodge whilst planning your next day’s activities.

Tywyn is a town resting on the sweep on Cardigan Bay, perched on the Cader Idris mountain range, on the edge of the coast. The town offers a regular open air market and shops that sell local produce and gifts, as well as convenient shops, restaurants and pubs. Further afield attractions include the towns of Dolgellau and Aberdovey, and the historic sites of Harlech Castle, Llanfair Slate Caverns and the Talyllyn Railway.
