Snaptrip says

Ty Hir is a well-maintained and cosy cottage offering stunning mountain views, situated on a working farm in a beautiful part of Wales. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable accommodation, the friendly owners, and the opportunity to be close to nature. Despite some comments about the farm track access and the proximity to farm activities, the tranquil setting and the chance to explore Snowdonia make it a restful holiday spot.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with fresh bedding and a cosy atmosphere, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location offers beautiful views and tranquillity, ideal for exploring Snowdonia. However, the access via a steep farm track and the proximity to farm activities have been noted as drawbacks by some guests.

The cottage is frequently described as cosy and comfortable, with a wood burner adding to the ambience. Some guests suggested improvements in seating arrangements for enhanced comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms. However, comments about the lack of outdoor seating, unclear signage, and issues with TV and electricity supply suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests mention the provision of wood for the burner and the helpfulness of the owners, there are no specific references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

The single track up to the barn which is adjacent to the owners home is a little daunting on first go, but soon becomes less so. It feels like you are in top of the world when you reach the accomodation and the views are amazing! Nb the direct view from the living room is disappointing but to each side, beautiful. If it were my place I'd swap the dresser for a comfy couch to sit with morning coffee and take in the view of Cnicht. We had a slight problem with the electricity supply on the first evening and morning but the owners were on hand for the weekend and were very friendly, approachable and helpful. It was sorted before we left. There is a private working farm next to the accomodation and the farmers there were very friendly. I would say this is probably not the best a property for people with mobility limitations as the parking outside the property is on quite rough, uneven ground. There is a short gentle sloping path from the gate to the accomodation.

The tranquility of the place immediately put us in chill mode! The cottage itself was very cosy and everything we needed was provided, even the cleaning things. It was lovely to be next to a working farm. We very quickly made friends with the chickens! We had a wonderful holiday at Ty Hir and will return and stay for longer!

Wanna come back for quiet holidays. Great contact with the owner. Place was clean and bedding fresh. My kid loved to see animals from the local farmers.
