Afallon is a terrace stone cottage situated in the small village of Llanbedr, in a peaceful part of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, resting close to the seaside. Once the owner’s home, this property has been kept up to a high-standard, with wonderful period features such as the stone inglenook fireplace and lovely contemporary animal artwork throughout the living space, giving it a wealth of character. Entering the property, there is a small hallway with hooks to hang your coats and a small space to kick off your boots before entering this contemporary dwelling. There is an armchair by the window, which makes an ideal spot for reading a good book with a cup of tea in the morning. The kitchen has been designed to a wonderful standard, with lovely white fitted units and sleek granite worktops providing plenty of worktop space for preparing meals and cupboard space for stocking up for the week. Gather at the dining table to enjoy your meals over a well-deserved glass of wine, and extend the table if you need more room for your delicious feast. Retire to either of the two well-presented bedrooms on the first-floor, both of which are doubles and have two built-in wardrobes each so you don't have to worry about sharing space! There is also a built-in headboard with small shelves to put a glass of water or your book, with reading lights overhead. There is an extra room which acts a dressing room with a large mirror and dressing table, so you can get ready for a night out in style. Head to the family bathroom where you can find an elegant bath and shower over, here you can decide how best to prepare for your day, or enjoy a relaxing soak at the end of a tiring adventure. Llanbedr itself provides three local pubs, perfect for those who enjoy eating out to sample a selection of real Welsh ale and some fine dining. Shell Island camping site rests across 300-acres of unspoilt countryside, perfect for exploring or spending a night camping in the summer weather, or for long country walks, with access to a large sandy beach. A few miles away rests the Llyn Cwm Bychan where you can follow the track of the Roman Steps climbing towards the Rhinogs, giving far-reaching views across the some of the best country sites Snowdonia has to offer. Travel towards the seaside resort of Harlech to access its wonderfully historic Harlech Castle, with two rings of walls and was said to have been the site of the longest siege in British history. Or venture of towards the Royal St. David's Golf Club for a sporty afternoon. Afallon is an excellent base for touring this wonderful coastal area of Snowdonia with your loved ones.
