    About this property

A fantastic Victorian terraced house is nestled on the seaward facing slopes on one of the oldest and steepest hills, known as Twtil in the centre of Harlech, with unrivalled panoramic vistas over the golf course and sand dunes to Tremadog Bay, across to the Llyn Peninsula and beyond. One of eight properties that form this iconic row of Victorian houses, 3 Bronwen Terrace offers spacious family accommodation arranged over three floors with many of the rooms enjoying fantastic sea views. Renovated to a good standard, with a fantastic oak finish used throughout. A lovely sitting room with large bay window frames that magnificent view and is a great place to sit and relax, and once you’ve watched the sun set down into the sea, the open fire offers a warming glow and relaxing atmosphere. The adjoining dining room is just perfect for a family get together and the kitchen is fully fitted with plenty of cupboards and space, with all the facilities you’d expect to have to cater for all your needs. There are four bedrooms in total, two double bedrooms on the first floor including what would probably be described as the master bedroom with a sofa, king-size bed and wonderful sea views, and a further two bedrooms on the second floor, a king-size and a twin. There are two designer bathrooms on each of the upper floors, one of which is rather lavish and has a double ended roll-top bath, separate double shower, marble flooring with underfloor heating and exposed stone walls, the other with a large shower cubicle and the best view of the house! The area around this Harlech cottage offers many activities, with Harlech's magnificent sandy beach and the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club just down the hill, the CADW Medieval Castle just up the hill and the mountains of Snowdonia an easy drive away. A lovely, central location, with stunning views makes this a fabulous place to return to after a day out and about, relax with family and friends all year round.

The town of Harlech in the Snowdonia National Park offers a castle, golf course, a beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Also Cardigan Bay and the towns of Barmouth and Porthmadog are close by for a day by the sea. You can also venture the National Park for a myriad of walking, cycling, wildlife spotting and birdwatching.

    Mrs Collins ‐ 1 Aug 2019
"The house itself is comfortable and provides ample accommodation with its four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is very good with easy access to a wonderful beach. We decided to abandon our car for the week and take the train from the station at the bottom of the hill to explore the local area. The only criticism I have of the property is that it’s practically impossible to get your car onto the allocated parking space, as the entrance to the property is so narrow."

" After a long drive up from Dorset I was victorious in reversing through the stone gateway in our Seat Alhambra! What a relief! The house is light, clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and in the most enviable location being 5 mins walk to the castle, restaurants and shops, 15 mins walk to the vast beach. Comfortable beds, luxorious bathrooms and extra utility meant I could iron all the wedding outfits in total comfort! It was a big treat forour family of 6, attending my brother's Wedding in the small church just a stroll away and reception in the Memorial Hall, also a couple mins stroll away. We could pop back and get changed as the party progressed! I noticed people walking would pause and stand on 'our' driveway as they passed on the hill, to enjoy the view. The table and chairs at the front of the house were well used on dry days, and drizzly days!. you can't beat that view! The perfect place to share a bottle of wine with family and friends. Sea, mountains, castle! We also enjoyed watching all the crows, jackdaws and swifts whirling around from our elevated position as they got ready to roost. Well worth the stretch in our budget.. if we could afford it again we would definitely return to Bronwen Terrace. Cheers! "

" If we hadn't been very lucky with the parking situation my 97 year old Mother-in-Law wouldn't have been able to walk from the allocated parking in the local swimming pool car park. Apart from these points the holiday was very good, the views from the house are spectacular and the weather was brilliant. The people are really friendly and helpful and the castle is magnificent. "

" Not only did we really enjoy Harlech again, but the house introduced us to new areas, and gave us the best possible view of the Castle as well as fantastic sunsets. Sadly not even the view could make the hill any easier, nor take away the impossibility of getting the car through the gates onto the terrace. But even that had a silver lining - we had an uninterrupted view from the living room! The house had a seemingly endless supply of necessary and ever so useful rooms, and being able to get out at first floor level to the back entry was great for luggage moving. The parking passes at the Leisure Centre solved the parking problem, and added to our fitness. We would love to go again, and this house would be an important part of any future trip. "
    Mr Cook ‐ 1 Dec 2018
"The house, rooms, and facilities were perfect with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. My son cooked a splendid Christmas lunch for nine people in the well appointed kitchen and there was plenty of fridge and freezer space available for all that. We were welcomed in style with a decorated Christmas tree, festive lights and decorations and complimentary wine, Welsh cakes and chocolates. It is a spacious but cosy property with superb views over Cardigan Bay.."
    Mr Magill ‐ 1 Sep 2018
"Reversing a car through the very narrow entrance is almost impossible. I damaged the wing mirrors getting in and it takes another person to assist in the whole process. This parking problem should have been highlighted more clearly. There was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, not great after a 5 hour drive. The towels were tiny , why no bath towels? The dishwasher hadn't been emptied! Are new guests being used as part of the cleaning regime? The views from the front are very impressive, however, the back of the house is very dark and the dining room bleak."

"Brilliant property, perfect for our requirements. Everything and more you could need is provided, would have no hesitation in recommending"
    Mr Morris ‐ 1 Mar 2018
"There are no bolts on the toilet and bathroom doors, I noticed in the visitors book that this wasmentioned by several guests also. With 8 people including small children in the house, locks are a basic requirement. The extreme difficulty in parking anything other than a small car should perhaps be mentioned in your details. Other than this the house was very satisfactory."
