When sleep calls, retreat to either a plush double or single bed to catch your rest then wake up the next morning, freshen up with a shower and get ready to seize the day. Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.

The bedrooms and the beds themselves were extremely comfortable and we all slept well. Electric radiators were powerful enough to heat each room. A couple of things could have been better - no wood was provided for the wood burner and the only bag we could get hold of from the local shop was damp. Having a log burner was a selling point in winter so it was frustrating to have a burner in the property but unable to use it. There was no visitor info sheet / card with things like wifi code so we had to contact the owner for some info, but they responded quickly. Didn't spoil our stay - just a shame about the burner. Harlech itself was VERY quite out of season, but that's what we were after.

The beds were very comfy (I didn't shut up about them our whole trip). We were left a welcome pack of treats, bread, teabags, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. Some of it we had already bought as we didn't realise it would be provided. Unfortunately the maintenance company didn't leave any wood and as we arrived on a Sunday evening we couldn't get any until the Monday but I communicated with the owner who got back to me within minutes and was great help. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you

There were very thoughtful extraâs which I was not expecting such as fresh milk, lovely cakes and biscuits. Great location in the heart of the town. The only things negatively I can comment is there was only 1 log for the fire and no washing utensils such as washing up liquid and a cleaning sponge.
