The quirky layout of the property means that you will find two well-presented king-size bedrooms and two super king-size, all on the ground-floor, each offering a stylish space to wake up to each morning and prepare for the day ahead. After an adventure filled day, you and your loved ones can look forward to spending a relaxing evening within the brightly decorated living room, offering all the necessities and space for a week long break. Curl up on the plush L-shape sofa which sits in front of a Smart TV, before the chef of the group rustles up a delicious home-cooked meal and gathers the family around the dining table for a sociable evening. If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful cottage, a short stroll will bring you to the local pub where you will be delighted with the warming welcome, if you fancy a special treat one evening. To keep you busy whilst staying here, the surrounding area has been carved as one of the best locations for outdoor pursuits, with a nearby river for walking, fishing, climbing and kayaking available within a short distance. Tanygrisiau is a traditional Welsh village with a name which means "below the steps", referring to the cliffs above the village. It rests within the Snowdonia National Park and is superb for walking and other outdoor pursuits. Close by is Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you will find a wealth of shops, pubs and eateries. Also within close reach is the delightful Betws-y-Coed and the Italianate Village of Portmeirion.

Plenty of space and really good if, like us, you are out and about in the countryside and arrive back with wet clothing. Everyone in our group was impressed with the accommodation and we would definitely use again. Communication with the owner was excellent..

Shame the log burner was not working, one reason I booked property. Some of the outside windows rotten. Needs some work on this property to bring it up to a 5 stars.
