If you are visiting with keen cyclists venture to Coed Y Brenin forest where you will find the UK’s largest mountain bike trail. Tal-Y-Bont is a small village resting to the North of the popular resort town of Barmouth, nestled within the Snowdonia National Park. Within the village you will find railway station, a casual dining restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a traditional pub. There is also a sandy beach which is a great spot for fishing and if the weather is right, it is also good for surfing. Close by is the Coed y Brenin Forest Park and the village of Portmeirion.
