Note: No children under 8 due to the nature of the grounds, ground maintenance works etc

Location excellent. Convenient for shopping.. Friendly helpful owner. You can walk from the house if you wish but property is easily accessible to road network if you want wider exploration

The Lodges are situated just out of town and are surrounded by countryside... But only a few minutes drive you are in the town of Dolgellau with usual amenities but in a pretty setting. The Lodges are set on a 3 hole golf course and the owner is professional golfer and available for personal lessons. This worked well for us as my husband could practice at leisure and I could relax on the decking... Or go for a walk... Or enjoy the birds and wildlife. The lodge is well equipped for cooking or you can go into town for restaurants, pubs, takeaways etc. Bedroom is a nice size... Comfy bed... Powerful shower in the ensuite... The surrounding area offers so many fantastic places to walk and explore and we are definitely planning on returning soon. The Lodges either side accommodate 6 so we may book one of these and go with extended family.

Birdie Lodge was a very comfortable place to stay and relax, if you are a golf lover you are right on a 3 hole golf course which is very well maintained. The lodge is very close to local amenities and Dolgellau Town, the Town we found very friendly with plenty of places to eat and drink and if you are a knitter there is a lovely wool shop which has a fantastic range of wools called Knit One. We will definitely making a return visit very soon.
