This beautiful two bedroom Victorian cottage is situated on a small lane in Dolgellau, just a short walk to local shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage has been lovingly restored with many luxury touches to provide the perfect holiday cottage from which to explore Snowdonia National Park and all it has to offer.

Ty Cwtch ('Safe Place' - also known as Isallt) has pretty much almost everything you need for a luxury self-catering holiday in North Wales - a starter stock of tea, coffee and sugar, WiFi and large flat screen 4K HD smart TV, crisp cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels. The cottage is also very baby friendly - providing essentials such as a travel cot, high chair, baby bouncing chair, changing mat, baby play mat, steriliser, mini food processor, toddler step-up and toddler toilet training seat. There is a fixed stair gate at the top of the stairs for added peace of mind when bringing young children and there is even secure storage for prams and bikes.

The cottage is arranged over three floors and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard including hand painted furniture and bespoke soft furnishings. On the ground floor, the dining and sitting rooms have been opened up to create one spacious room with stripped pine floorboards and a newly discovered fireplace, which now houses a wood-burning stove. There is a folding dining table and chairs for up to six, a large flatscreen 4K smart TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, CD player/radio/iPod docking station, board games, books, and an armchair and two sumptuous sofas. The owners are passionate walkers and mountain bikers, so you will find plenty of books and maps to use during your stay.

Upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is decorated in a vintage style with pretty ditsy curtains plus Roman blackout blind and has a lovely comfortable iron bed in keeping with the decor with a luxurious pocket sprung mattress. The second bedroom has full-size bunk beds. Both bedrooms have crisp cotton bed linen with vintage patchwork quilt covers/throws if required. Fluffy white cotton towels are also supplied. The very well-appointed bathroom has a bath with 'rainwater' style shower and a separate body rinser, sink and WC plus heated towel rail. Hand soap and loo roll are provided.

On the lower ground floor is a delightful kitchen, which is very well equipped with an electric fan oven with ceramic hob and grill, microwave, fridge with icebox, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. Next to this is possibly the prettiest utility room we have seen with plenty of space to store bikes, push chairs, golf clubs, rucksacks and boots - there is direct access to this room down a short flight of steps from the lane. A stable door takes you from the kitchen to a small rear courtyard with table and chairs. Extra chairs are stored in the utility room if required.

There is no parking immediately outside the cottage (the lane is fairly narrow) but there is on-street parking just yards from the front door around the corner.

Please note the kitchen has beamed a ceiling with low headroom, so could be slightly awkward for those who are very tall.
