This lovely cottage provides an ideal base and suits couples, friends or a family. The cottage has a lovely welcoming atmosphere throughout and still retains many of its wonderful original character features such as quarry tiled flooring, bay and sash windows and exposed beams. Decorated and tastefully furnished, this cottage has a lovely homely feel to it, the kitchen is modern with high ceiling and spotlights and is well-equipped for all your needs, while boasting a separate dining room with quarry tiled flooring, a cosy sitting room with bay window, comfy seating and a warming electric woodburner effect fire, ideal to relax in front of after a day on the mountains or lake. Upstairs there is a modern bathroom and two stylish bedrooms. On a warm summer's evening, why not sit outside your holiday home? The paved courtyard is great for alfresco dining or to simply enjoy a relaxing drink, and plan your next day of adventure. On your doorstep is the colourful town of Bala, famous for its lake, Llyn Tegid, which is the largest natural lake in Wales. The town has a good selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and home to a wide selection of watersports including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. Also, within easy reach from the cottage is the National Whitewater Centre where you can enjoy a day of adventure and adrenaline. There is also the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed y Brenin, making it a great base for walkers, mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Further afield, why not visit the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog and take the world-famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam train to the harbour town of Porthmadog? Alternatively, visit Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which is now also the home of Zip World Titan and Caverns, and Bounce Below, an underground system of trampolines. For more leisurely pastimes, take a trip on the Bala Lake Railway, or spend a day on one of the many sandy beaches at Barmouth or Fairbourne. There really is something for everyone, and this cottage is an ideal base from which to enjoy them all at any time of the year.

Bala is a market town resting within the Snowdonia National Park, located at the head of Llyn Tegid, which is the largest natural lake in Wales. It is famous for being a centre for watersports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and whitewater rafting. Within the town you will also find a wealth of shops, inns and restaurants, and an historical Town Walk.

Note: Parking is accessed at the rear of Arenig Street, carry on down the High Street from the cottage and turn right onto Arenig Street, just after the garage on the corner.

Customers can easily locate parking spaces free of charge on this back street.

There are also 2 public car parks located in Bala.
