Carreg Lwyd is located in the town of Bala a short walk from the shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake).  Bala, designated a 'Walkers Welcome' town is a pretty little town located just inside the Snowdonia National Park with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants and a great base for exploring the area.  Bala Lake is the largest natural lake in Wales, only home in the world of the Gwyniad, a whitefish living in the lake, and  other rare animal species. The lake is popular  for  water sports, sailing, kayaking, fishing, open water swimming and more. There are several walking and cycling routes around the town and the Bala Lake railway runs for 9 miles along the lake down to the village of  Llanuwchllyn. Further afield lies the higher ranges of Snowdonia, the beach resorts of Porthmadog, Barmouth and Llandudno and the famous castle towns of Conwy, Caernarfon and Denbigh.

A beautiful, modern, detached, family home. Laid out over two stories, this spacious house has a ground floor consisting of a large comfortable lounge with patio doors to the back garden and outdoor sitting area, a second lounge or snug which is set up as a small games room with board games, wii console, xbox 360 and PlayStation 2, perfect for entertaining the kids after a day on the lake or exploring the mountains of Snowdonia.. There is also a wide reception hall, cloakroom, ground floor WC and utility/ laundry room. The large, well equipped kitchen-diner is to the rear of the house overlooking the enclosed garden, perfectly set up so you can keep an eye on the children or dogs playing outside.

The four bedrooms are on the first floor (two have ensuite bathrooms and there is also an additional family shower room). The master bedroom is a good size and has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over), the second bedroom also has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over), the third and fourth bedroom have twin single beds.

Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, Wifi, Sky TV, DVD, Xbox 360, playstation II and furniture for garden including a BBQ. Parking for three cars. Bed linen and towels are supplied, gas and electricity are included in the tariff. This property has a Friday changeover and will accept two dogs. Please note this is a no smoking property.
