A cosy detached cottage, with a log burner in the lounge, set just next to the main residence in 2 acres of lovely gardens and woodland including a small stream with fishing rights. Less than two miles from the beautiful Lake Crafnant and a downhill walk to the nearest pub.

Butterfly Cottage is a 2 bedroom property near to the village of Trefriw on the road to Llyn Crafnant (Lake Crafnant). It has been awarded a 4 star quality grading by Visit Wales and accepts 1 dog.

This beautifully presented cottage has a ground floor entrance hall leading to the lounge-diner with log burner, 2 sofas, TV and dining table with seating for 4 people. Patio doors open out onto an outdoor seating area with garden furniture. A separate, well equipped, kitchen offers a hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer plus cookware and kitchen utensils. Also on the ground floor is a WC and sink. The 2 bedrooms and family bathroom are on the first floor. Bedroom one has a double bed and built-in wardrobe, bedroom two has 2 single beds and a free-standing wardrobe, and the modern bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC. There are 2 entrances to the bathroom, one from each bedroom.

The cottage has full central heating, WiFi internet connection, and bed linen and towels are provided. Please note there are some steps between rooms on the ground floor (see pictures and floor plan for more deail) and this is a no smoking property.

Butterfly Cottage lies within a 2 acre area of garden and woodland which is shared with the owners of the cottage who live next door. There is also a small stream with fishing rights. The village of  Trefriw is a short walk down hill (it can be quite steep in parts) and Llyn Crafnant is about 2 miles away in the opposite direction. The village has pubs, restuarants, the Trefriw Wollen Mill and this scenic area has a number of walking routes to explore. Further afield are Surf Snowdonia, Zip Fforest, Betws-y-Coed and the town of Conwy. Trefriw is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
