    About this property

This lovely mid-terrace stone cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village Dwygyfylchi near Penmaenmawr in North Wales. This cottage is well suited for couples wishing to explore this delightful part of the country. Downstairs there is a comfortable open plan living area which comprises a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and cosy sitting area with a woodburner if the weather turns a little cold. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed and the other twin beds which can be made into another king-size bed on request. The accommodation is completed with a family bathroom. Outside there is a long front garden with comfortable seating area where you can sit and relax listening to the stream running along the front of the terrace, adding to the peace and tranquillity of the area. There is also a back patio which is accessed by steps. The town of Penmaenmawr has a large selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and there are plenty of activities, including a golf course and sandy beaches. The sailing club in Penmaenmawr is well- established and welcomes day guests. On the promenade there are plenty of activities together with a beach café which is open most of the year. There are also beach huts on the promenade that you can hire by the day. Also near to the beach is a bowling green and all weather tennis courts. Further afield, there are an abundance of activities in the area including the High Ropes tree adventure centre, Zip World with the longest zip-wire in Europe and Bounce Below with its underground trampolines stretched over former slate caverns.

Nestled on the North Wales coast between Llanfairfechan and Conwy, Dwygyfylchi is situated on the stunning North Wales coast between Penmaenmawr and Conwy. It looks out across to the Irish Sea, Conwy Bay, Anglesey and the Great Orme off Llandudno, where dolphins can sometimes be seen swimming in the distance. On a clear day, the Isle of Man can be visible. It is nestled at the foot of Moel Lys mountain, which offers many beautiful walks and vistas. A recently opened cycling track enables you to ride along the coast eastwards towards Conwy and beyond, or westwards towards Llanfairfechan. This is a lovely area which provides a fantastic base for your holiday in North Wales

    - Mrs Smith, November 2018
"Just come back after a 3 day break. Cottage was very relaxing and the facilities excellent. Enjoyed the hot tub, log fire and the walks are amazing. Am coming back in June next year. Stephanie was very helpful and made sure that everything was ready for us in the cottage. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break. My husband loved the hot tub and was still in it at 9pm at night (even in November)"
    - Mrs Penberthy, October 2018

    - Mrs Cooper, September 2018
"Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Steph & Peter we’re very helpful . Would stay there again ."
    - Mrs Macinnes, August 2017
"This is a cosy and at the same time extremely stylish, though quite small, cottage that offers everything you need when on holiday. We loved the kitchen unit, the wonderful matresses, the fireplace, the books and games, and of course the hot tub. The cottage is located just next to a little stream, at the foot of Sychnant Pass - the view each morning at the almost majestic hill was really spectacular. The location is fantastic: You are in Conwy and Llandudno in no time, the huge beach of Penmaenmawr is just a stone's throw away, and places like Betws-Y-Coed, Llanberis, Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Criccieth, Porthmadog, Portmeirion etc. can all be reached in less than an hour. The owner Stephanie was very friendly and helpful on the phone. Thank you for providing this great little gem of a cottage. We felt just like at home. The MacInnes family (Germany)"
    - Mrs Barron-green, December 2017
"It was very clean and had everything available like a home from home. Stephanie was really helpful with a couple of questions I had. The hot tub was bliss. Although it wasnt an issue with the property but the house next door was being worked on so a little noisy for a couple of days. However this didn't spoil our stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone as I would imagine it's even more beautiful in the summer."
    - Mrs Evans, January 2018

    - Miss Amos, November 2019
"The cottage is perfect, lovely furnishings, very clean and very well equipped. So good to have the hot tub and wood burner, made it extra special. Steph is lovely and was in touch before our stay and on our arrival day to make sure everything was as planned. The area is absolutely stunning, perfect for getting away from the stresses of 'normal life' but plenty of amenities only a short drive away. My only snag is we had to come home!"
