5 Cae Glas is a terraced cottage in Dwygyfylchi, four miles from Conwy. The cottage has a king-size double and a twin, along with a family bathroom. On the second floor is an attic with TV. The kitchen has a dining area and woodburning stove, and the sitting room has doors to the front patio. To the rear is a deck with furniture and sea views, and parking can be found on the roadside. 5 Cae Glas makes a very welcoming base for enjoying the North Wales coastline, including historic Conwy, the walking and cycling of the area and the Snowdonia National Park.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Famous for its historical and architectural heritage, the town of Conwy has become a World Heritage Site. This bustling city offers visitors with a number of ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions as well as a great selection of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Its 13th Century castle, built for King Edward I, is widely considered to be one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. With two barbicans, eight massive towers and great bow-shaped hall, the property was constructed in a distinctive, elongated shape to better fit on the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. Close to the Snowdonia National Park, this lovely town also offers a wide range of walking and cycling opportunities. This, in addition to the town's proximity to the Welsh coast, makes it an incredibly diverse place for a family break.

"Lovely house with excellent facilities and beautiful sea views. The best thing was the chair in the window overlooking the golf course with views out to sea. The least thing I liked was the on street parking ... Not always available outside the property which was a disadvantage on arrival and leaving with luggage."
    - A FlipKey verified reviewer, February 2013
"The cottage was really clean and was conveniently located for walks in the hills, lunch in the pubs and for viewing the breathtaking local scenery! The boys enjoyed a day at the nearby dry ski slope, whilst the rest of us walked the dog through the hills nearby! I really want to go back to Dwygyfylchi because the area was beautiful, and all the people we met were really friendly and welcoming. The first thing we did was go to the little shop, where we had a conversation with the shop keeper as one can only have in little shops, and he even taught us how to pronounce Dwygyfylchi! I would recommend a holiday in this picturesque Welsh scenery to anyone and everyone!"

"This cottage was absolutely brilliant from the facilities and comfort within the cottage and the surrounding area some of the views are superb. The cottage itself is very comfortable the bedrooms are of an excellent size. All in all the cottage made the holiday excellent."

"The cottage is perfect-clean, spacious, very well equipped and with spectacular views across the golf course towards the sea. Beautiful. You want for nothing-a real home from home. Would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed for a week at this lovely cottage. The view from the lounge is like a changing picture , very well equipped with everything you need . Would recommend good base for exploring North Wales."
    - Aran88, March 2016
"We stayed in Cae Glas for Easter, there were 4 adults and 2 dogs. Although the cottage is only 2 bedrooms, it is large, light and airy. The two living rooms have high ceilings and are spacious. The kitchen is south (ish) facing and gets the sunlight in the morning. It is also large enough for 4 adults to sit comfortably whilst a meal is being prepared. Having the log stove in the kitchen really makes the kitchen a place to linger in the evening with a glass of wine. The livingroom has great windows so you can see the sea and the great orme in the distance, when we were there the gulf course just outside was inundated with rainbows. It is a view to just kick back and watch it change as the weather does. Location wise – it is easy to get to and get out to explore North Wales. It is also in walking distance to a great little pub which did excellent pub food and an Austrian restaurant (which we did not try) I would recommend this cottage to anyone."
    - Mrs Glen, August 2016
"Cottage was lovely with amazing views, attic playroom big hit with our 3 year old despite very steep stairs to get up."
    - Dr Goga, October 2016
"Really nice well looked after cottage indeed. Clean, good sized rooms, kitchen fully kitted and log burner to keep us warm during breakfast nearby. Very family/child friendly - the attic became the games room for the kids - lots of board games, books and a DVD player. Superb view from living room and main bedroom, looking over the coast of North Wales. Well informed welcome pack and website to give us an idea of what and where to visit nearby. The property even provides a bucket and spade for the kids, a selection of tea and plenty of logs for the fire. The owners even called on arrival to make sure everything was ok. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this cottage for couples and small families."
    - Miss Dawson, October 2016
"Perfect location for exploring the north wales area. Such a lovely, homely, comfortable, well-equipt cottage with stunning tranquil scenes from the window. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again."
    - Mrs Nichols, December 2016
"Wonderful holiday. Great view, lots of space and well equipped. Felt at home. Only problem was the parking as it was difficult to get children out of the car."
    - Dr Baldwin, March 2017

    Mrs Hilary Burns, Whitby, Ontario
"There was a lovely view of the bay with two patios, one at the front & one at the back of the property. The kitchen was large and well equipped, and the bedrooms were comfortable & a good size. We were provided with lots of information on the area and property. It was in easy walking distance to an excellent hiking area and three restaurants. A beautiful area close to many historic sites and interesting towns."
Mrs Ceri Gray, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan
"We had a delightful stay. The cottage was bright, spacious and warm. It is in a lovely situation with great views and a great base for touring the whole area."
    Miss Sally Roberts, Sandbach, Cheshire
"The cottage was spotlessly clean and fresh. It was spacious, warm and felt like home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and more. There were amazing views to the front and the garden was secure for dogs or children. In a peaceful location but also within walking distance of the local shop, pubs and mountain walks. It was about a 10 minute easy drive to Conwy and sandy beaches. Would highly recommend and didn't want to leave!"
    Mr Owain Linley, Rossendale, Lancashire
"An absolutely fantastic cottage in a lovely village. There are great views over the golf course and out to the Great Orme. We couldn't fault it in any way! We would definitely visit again as it is a great base for exploring north and mid Wales."
