Bwthyn Ty Newydd is a highly praised cottage, consistently described as clean, cosy, and welcoming. Guests are delighted by the hot tub and the tranquil Welsh countryside setting. The owner, Arwel, receives commendations for his friendliness and attentiveness. Special touches like homemade cakes add to the charm, contributing to a relaxing and memorable stay.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, often using descriptors like 'gleaming' and 'immaculate'. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.
The location is frequently described as peaceful and beautiful, with lovely views and a quiet setting. It's noted as a good base for exploring the area, although some guests mention the remoteness and suggest being prepared for a drive to amenities.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a 'big comfy bed' and a warm welcome. The presence of a log burner and the tranquil environment contribute to the overall comfort.
The hot tub is a standout feature, highly appreciated by guests. Other facilities like a well-equipped kitchen and a barbecue area are also mentioned positively. However, a few guests suggested improvements in privacy around the hot tub and the comfort of the sofa.
The owner's thoughtfulness is highlighted through gestures like homemade cakes and checking in on guests. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
