For those feeling active, there is the nearby Kerry Ridgeway offering a 15-mile route amid rolling hills and superb views. This small village rests within the Vale of Kerry, centrally located in Mid Wales and close to the Shropshire border. Within the village you will find a shop, two pubs, one with a restaurant attached. Within the surrounding area you will find a magnitude of walking and cycling routes, including the Kerry Ridgeway. Brush up on the local history by spending an afternoon at Montgomery and Powis Castles, as well as the towns of Bishops Castle, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Machynlleth.
