Mr Southern
We really enjoyed our stay at this holiday cottage/Lodge. The location to us was fairly remote. About 15 minutes to the nearest village (Knighton). The property stands within a farm and is of a high standard. It's probably about 100 meters from the main farm house and the friendly owners. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the place and our boys enjoyed the animals there too. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and the use of the games room for table tennis or snooker. The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived and we received a warm welcome from Chris and his father Gordon. Unfortunately, there's no wifi available but that may suit some more than others. If your prepared to drive there's plenty to see in the area. We visited Hampton court castle and gardens, Powys castle near Welshpool, Elan valley visitor centre and dam, Pen y fan circular walk and the Vale of Rheidol steam railway taking you to Aberystwyth. Some lovely places really.. The service we received when booking the holiday was excellent and we experienced no problems what so ever. We were lucky with the weather I think and on reflection it's probably one of the best holidays we've had in the UK.
