"What a beautiful holiday let this is,we had a fabulous week with everything that we could possibly want right there to hand, stunning views and perfect for the dog, would go back tomorrow, thank you for a lovely break,Mrs Thomas and thank you Cottages for you x"
"Absolutely fab. Location so lovely. Would definitely stay again."
    "Quite and peaceful."
"Beautiful bungalow in a lovely quiet setting. Owners very friendly, visiting at the beginning of the holiday to make sure that all was well."
"Our second visit to Bryn Coed and once again had a fantastic time. Superb walks right from the doorstep. Would definitely like to return."
"A comfortable cottage with beautiful views from the windows. Perfect location for exploring the Elan Valley."
"The house is in a beautiful setting very peaceful and with lovely view it was therefore very disappointing that the plastic garden seats provided were all broken. The games 'room' it is stated is in the garage, we did manage to have a fun time however the quality of the snooker table and darts are poor, the table being uneven and the pockets being torn and the darts blunt and we did not find a football game as advertised. It could do with a bit of a tidy up as well. The house itself has absolutely everything provided that you would require and more but there were dog hairs on the living room carpet when we arrived. For the price being paid it wouldn't cost much for the owner to rectify these small problems!"
    "fantastic house well equipped"
"Beautiful scenery and lovely setting for a comfortable property."

"great accomodation. spacious, quiet and wild birds were amazing. sheep friendly, fox interesting and the dog loved it."
    "the cottage was wonderfull."
"Very pleased with accommodation. Comfortable, clean, lovely location if it's peace and quiet you're after. Ideally situated for everywhere we wanted to visit, coast(Aberystwyth) not far. Cottage never had DVD player, but one was supplied to us on request. Definitely one of the best accommodations we have had and wouldn't hesitate to go back if we wished to visit that area of Wales again."
"We wanted a property for peace and quite and also walking the dogs,so finding this property was a total bonus. The bungalow was spacious, warm & had everything neededfor a perfect break. For people with dogs a large forest is only 2 minutes walk up the road."
"A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Some furnishings/equipment were a little worn, but it was clean, comfortable, spacious and warm. The only reason we would not return was that there is little to do in the area around, particularly with children, though the scenery everywhere is outstanding."
"Bryn-Coed is a lovely bunglow very spacious, clean, comfortable, plenty of parking space on the drive, we had two cars. Lawned area at the front and the back and the view is fantastic, as you are surrounded by mountains, breathtaking. Plenty of different little birds visit the garden to feed from the bird table and you see bigger birds as well and the sheep come down to feed in the field adjacent to the garden. It is so peaceful as well, so different to big city noise. Just down the road, about 5 mins, is a forest, great for walking the dog, different foot paths leading round the forest and horse tracks as well and you can even walk right up to the top of the mountain, which we did with our little yorkie and the view is just unbelievable. Plenty of places to tour round and not far away you can go and watch the Red Kites feeding, loads of them.We had a fantastic holiday and I would definitely recommend Bryn-Coed as a good place to stay in."
"Great place to stay with fantastic views in all directions. The kids and dogs loved the freedom of the enclosed gardens, with the games room being an added bonus. 5-10 mins drive to Rhayader and Elan Valley reservoir. Excellent biking and dog walking trails just across the road. Will be coming back for another visit."
"This was a beautiful bungalow with lots of room and everything one could need. Peaceful location and fantastic views. The lovely forest opposite is wonderful for doggy walks. Perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all."

"A perfect property, one of the best we have stayed in. Everything you could need was provided. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 large dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful part of Wales and will definitely stay at Bryn Coed again. May 2012."

"Very pleasant accommodation in beautiful picturesque surroundings. An ideal location for a holiday with the dogs due to the ease of walks from the doorstep. The property is large and accommodated 2 adults and 3 teenage boys very well and the games room in the garage was a bonus to keep them amused on an evening after a long day walking. The woodburning stove came in very useful when the weather changed mid-week.I would definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends. March 2012."

"Spacious and very well equipped bungalow. Remote location (car essential) but well placed for many local attractions, including Gilfach Reserve, the Elan Valley Reservoirs and the Gigrin Kite Feeding Station. Excellent dog walks from the gate. We all had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Aug 2011."

"Excellent location for exploring the Rhayader area. Plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, etc, or just to relax. Plenty of wild life to see, even on the bird table if you put some seed out. Red kite and buzzards can also be seen regularly near the cottage. A great property if you have a dog with walks in the woodland a few yards up the quiet road. Excellent eateries in the area - cafe’s, pubs and restaurants. June 2011."
    Previous guest
"First class property, which has everything you need. High quality and very clean. Excellent views and very quite. the pub at 1.5 miles is now closed and a good alternative is the Gewstre Inn in Gwestre 6 miles away with a varied menu and very good food and staff. A good centre for visiting the attractions of Mid Wales. The garden with its Bird table and the wildlife in the field was an added bonus as was the single Red Kite that hovered over the area on a regular basis. June 2011."
