The Barn is a cosy annexe positioned within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons and the Shropshire Hills AONB, just a few miles outside of Llandrindod Wells. Adjoining the owner's property in a countryside setting, where farm animals greet you over the fence from their field, this cottage allows families and friends to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the main yard, step into the hallway and just off here is the ground floor shower room, ideal for coming in after a long, brisk hike. The kitchen/diner occupies a country cottage feel, with timber units and exposed brickwork. Sit at the breakfast bar early morning with your coffee, before a 4-mile walk up Breacon Hill. On your return, relax in the lounge with a book or gather around the electric fire and feel the warmth filling the room. A set of double doors lead outside, which you can throw open on a bright summer's day. Climb the open-tread staircase to the bedrooms, where you will find a double and a twin, followed by the family bathroom. The spacious master bedroom offers a king-size bed and its very own en-suite shower room, handy for when you all need to get ready in the morning and explore the region. The nearby town of Llandrindod Wells is easily reached by car, with many amenities and notable landmarks on offer. The town is known for its Victorian Festival each year, showcasing a wide range of entertainment. The lake is a popular attraction for picnicking and afternoon strolls and there is also The National Cycle Museum, well worth a visit. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Spend a day at Builth Wells, home to numerous activities, including walking, pony trekking and mountain biking, as well as boasting an 18-hole golf course. Builth Wells the home of the Royal Welsh Showground is a great place to visit and the Elan Valley near Rhayader. You also have access to the cathedral city of Hereford and the beautiful Shropshire Hills! An ideal base to choose for your next holiday in Mid Wales.

Llandrindod Wells lies within the historic boundaries of Radnorshire in Wales. There are some notable landmarks within the town, including architectural buildings dating from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. There is a wide range of entertainment available each year; hosted at The Albert Hall Theatre, Pavilion Mid Wales, which brings and Radnor Fringe Festival which is held within the Rock Park. The lake is part of the Victorian history and still remains a popular attraction today. Beacon Hill is a nice 4 mile long trail whilst The Spa Walk offers gentle slopes and opportunity to try the waters at the Chalybeate Spring in Rock Park.
