Walk, fish, feed the birds, ducks, donkey – and squirrels! – and don’t forget a torch for evening adventures. A barbecue on the verandah of your cosy lodge (some have outdoor hot tubs) kicks off the ideal way to end the exploring and start the star-gazing.
The golf course adjacent hosts a contemporary restaurant offering local produce, as does the village 2 miles away. Lakes, dams, waterfalls, castles, the Shropshire Borders and Dovey Valley are easily accessible.

Holiday was amazing the cabin location views park lakes driving range spot on negatives are electric kept tripping when more that one device used in kitchen had to by fly spray as so many flys in kitchen area possible squirals in loft scratching at night make sure pack a torch very dark at night and hire telescope from reception as we missed out didn’t see it until we departed you only speak to members of staff at check in and no one checks your ok and no issues would of thought they might pop by make sure everything is ok no issues.
