    About this property

This is a lovely end-terrace cottage situated in the centre of the town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire. An ideal location for friends or families wishing to be close to the town and its various attractions. On entering the property there is a small sitting room with comfy seating where you can sit and relax with a good book. Down a small step and you come into the well-equipped kitchen area with a small step up to the dining area and a sitting area which has a woodburner and where the TV is situated and the DVD, so is a lovely place to relax. From this room there is a patio door onto an enclosed decking area with furniture and which has a wooden rail around and steps down to an enclosed lawn. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a bunk bedded room together with a family bathroom. Outside, you can relax on the enclosed decking or go down onto the garden to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Being so close to the bustling seaside resort of Tenby is really special. There is so much to do and Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. There are fabulous cobbled streets with quirky shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Further afield the Blue Flag awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths. Why not try a boat trip to Caldey Island to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route? Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier. Don’t forget Oakwood Theme Park which provides a brilliant, fun-filled day out, whilst Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic! The perfect location for an enjoyable holiday.

The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK.

" Very unfortunate not to be able to recycle and leave rubbish in outdoor bins. "

" Apart from the third bedroom everything was perfect. "

" Parking was fine on the street across the road.Log burner a welcome and cosy addition. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Well equipped kitchen. The knives and potato peeler could do with replacing. Only 3 wine glasses. The underfloor heating was difficult to to manage and the house took quite a while to warm up. The bathroom was cold the radiator wasn't big enough to warm the vast bathroom which did have a great shower.. It would have been nice if the cleaner could have put the heating on to warm the cottage for arrival. This wouldn't be an issue in the main season in the warm weather. The douvet was not warm enough for winter with no weight to it. A throw or extra blanket would have helped, we had to get the other duvet from the other bed to place on top of the one on our bed to keep warm. The beds were not that comfortable a mattress topper could help. The sheets and towels were all lovely and clean and fresh. The house was generally clean but the cleaner had missed cleaning the mirror in the back bedroom. the hall stairs and landing carpet had bits on it and there were Christmas tree bits on the floor in the lounge. I know it seems to be what happens in Tenby but we found having to take our rubbish with us a bit of a pain. We left at a 8 am and the tip didn't open until 830 am so we were stuck with rubbish in the car for the journey home. "

" We were a party of four adults and two youngsters and there was plenty of room for us without feeling crowded. Having two reception rooms was a useful feature as if peace and quiet was looked for it was readily available. Fish and chips for a meal out is a must do and we did it twice. Sainsburys supermarket one minute walk away and stocks a good selection of essentials. Boat trip to Caldey Island is a nice trip across the bay. Saundersfoot ten minute drive away is well worth it. Oakwood park left me (grandpa) unimpressed but my daughter and son-in-law had a good time. I felt the food options were quite limited and entrance fees were quite expensive but not many queues so all in all not too bad. I would definitely return "

"The cottage was clean and the furniture and decor were lovely. It was in a perfect position for the beach and the town, with the added bonus of being really quiet at night. There were a few drawbacks though. We had to park in the multi storey car park and pay £25 for the week. It wasn't a major problem, but there was never any available parking on the street. The other major issue was the lack of bin facilities. We couldn't store any rubbish outside and the nearest civic amenity site was a ..."

"We found the mattress too firm for our liking but that would not stop us from staying here again Would highly recommend this property"

"We loved all the little extras that are not mentioned anywhere, like in the kitchen - salt, pepper, cooking oil, foil, gravy granules, washing tabs for the dishwasher etc etc. In the lounge theres a hifi complete with a hookup lead for your phone, mp3 player - a Google Chromecast device so you can stream movies from your phone. Loads of DVDs and a good selection of books and games were also provided. The house is very convenient for the town centre and also Sainsbury's and the multi storey car park (£20 for the week) if you dont manage to find a free non residents parking spot. Also on the way into town outside Sainsburys is a bustop where its only 15 minutes to the nearby Saundersfoot and only £3 return, saves messing with parking. All in all a great destination and Redbrook makes an ideal home from home."
