Tenby 4 miles. The Coach House is a wonderful apartment located in a holiday village just outside the coastal town of Tenby in Wales. Within a 10 minute drive of the coastline, this modern apartment provides outstanding accommodation for two guests looking to make the most of the Welsh countryside. On entering the property there is a lovely sitting room with dining area. There is a separate kitchen, fully equipped with everything guests will need to cook up a delicious meal together after soaking up the sun at the beach. Guests can kick back and relax together in the comfy sitting room and indulge in a bottle of wine and watch a film. The property sleeps two guests in a beautifully decorated double bedroom which boasts an impressive en-suite shower room. Outside there is an allocated off street parking space available for one car. Plus, guests are welcome to bring a maximum of two dogs. The property is located just 10 minutes from the town centre of Tenby where guests will find plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to try. Set within a holiday cottage complex, guests benefit from access to the on-site swimming pool and sauna. A picturesque village close to Tenby, St. Florence is an awarding-winning village in the heart of Pembrokeshire and plays host to a village shop and two pubs serving good food. There is a garden centre with a cafe and wonderful countryside walks. Just outside the village you will find the Manor House Wildlife Park, as seen on TV as the Welsh Zoo and owned and run by Anna Ryder Richardson. Across the road from the zoo is Heatherton Park with its 18 hole golf course. With the superb Pembrokeshire coastline less than five miles away, St. Florence is the perfect base for exploring the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Stroll along the unspoilt beaches of Broad Haven and Barafundle, the pretty beach of Manorbier is less than three miles away. Explore the many historic castles peppered across Pembrokeshire or spend lazy afternoons strolling through countryside lanes. A superb base for exploring West Wales, all year round.

The bedroom accommodates a double bed which takes up almost the entirety of the space. The bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The shower however is another matter. It is the size of a postage stamp. For the love of god don't drop anything in there unless you are able to do squats because there is no way you are bending over to pick an item up. The door on the shower was broken and there is no inside handle. Water consequently flowed onto the floor through the gap in the door. The kitchen was adequate but there were no oven gloves left and who doesn't like a fry up on a holiday - the frying pan left was the size of a tea plate so don't expect to eat together. There was mould on the walls which some attempt had been made to clean in the living room and bedroom. The front door was a lesson in patience as it was extremely stiff and difficult to open. Parking is tight so please don't bring a limo as it takes some manoeuvring to get in and out of your allocated parking space. Hope that your upstairs neighbours are not into dancing as it sounds like a herd of elephants every time someone moves around. The biggest downside is even when you bring your dog there is no where to sit outside with them off lead. Good location, St Florence is lovely but the Coach House is an acquired taste.

However, this property we thought the least comfortable of the many Sykes holiday cottages we have stayed at previously. The bedroom was cramped, the bedding cold to the touch, and the pillows firm. The en-suite bathroom was tiny, gloomy and the shower cubicle would only accommodate a petit person. The two-seater sofa and matching armchair in the lounge were very uncomfortable - it was necessary to sit on a cushion for some relief! The TV was pretty decent however, but there was no DVD player and Netflix could not be accessed by us. The site was generally very quiet and peaceful and the surrounding landscaping well maintained.

We self cater and it did not have capacity for a weeks supplies. Better noise insulation from the floor above would be a good investment too....we dont like getting up at 6.30am when on holiday. Apart from that great centre to visit from swimming pool never too busy......local pub and shop within walking distance and Pembroke Dock has all the supermarkets and take aways you may need.... A nice relaxing break overall thank you.
