About this property

St Davids 1 mile. As you drive through the exquisite city of St Davids you will already be charmed by the beautiful area, and even more so as you head out just a mile into the countryside to this delightful holiday cottage, which is situated on the owners’ smallholding. Head along a private track leading to just a handful of properties, and you are sure to be delighted when you glimpse this little stone cottage. Walk up the curved stone steps into a welcoming kitchen and then through into the cosy sitting room with a dining table where you can enjoy romantic meals. The spacious bedroom is next to the sitting room and has an en-suite shower room to complete this quirky little cottage. Outside, you have a small lawned garden where you can sit and relax with a morning coffee as you plan your day out, or maybe dine alfresco on warm summer evenings. The surrounding countryside is a sheer delight and can be viewed from various parts of the larger shared garden. St Davids, the smallest city in the UK, is within walking distance where you can visit the magnificent cathedral, enjoy afternoon tea or a pint in a pub. Book boat trips to see the dolphins or maybe a white water rafting experience; or drive just a couple of miles to one of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches at Whitesands. Coastal and countryside walks with stunning scenery are right on the doorstep or you may wish to visit one of the many castles in the area. A peaceful haven from which to explore this scenic coast.

St Davids, Wales' smallest city, lies at the far end of the south-west coast of Wales. St Davids has a magnificent cathedral which dates back to the 12th Century, and still boasts the ruins of the Bishop's Palace. The city is set within the Pembrokeshire National Park, and offers a good variety of shops, eateries, tearooms and pubs. There are sandy beaches nearby, and great walking and wildlife can be enjoyed from the nearby coastal path. Visitors may also wish to visit Oakwood Theme Park, or try dolphin spotting on a boat trip to one of the local islands.
