Pilgrims Cottage is part of small exclusive holiday development, which has four other properties also available within the grounds. There is shared use of a heated indoor pool from 11.00am til 16.00pm each day, as well as a games room and gardens with an outdoor chess set and swing ball. If you do leave the grounds, then the sandy beach at Bacton is accessible down a private track, and the busier resort of great Yarmouth is a short drive away.

This is the 4th year running we have been to Pilgrims and we'll be back next year. The location is great - we go without a car (train via North Walsham and bus or taxi the last few miles) as there is lots to do on site, the beach, and up and down the coast to the neighbouring villages and towns (walk or bus). Tesco deliver if needed. The owner is lovely and very helpful, we never have any issues. I'd live there if I could!

Pilgrim Cottage was a lovely quaint unique property set in a very small complex of grade 2 listed properties. Ideally placed for the beach but it also had a lovely indoor pool for guest use. Exceptionally dog friendly and Nicky the manager was really helpful. The cottage had everything you need for a self catering holiday but we made use of the local pub the Poachers which served great food at a good price. We will be back!

Our stay at pilgrims cottage was fantastic and we will absolutely be back. Nicky had left us a welcome basket which included treats for our dog which was a really lovely touch. We got a scheduled 1.5hrs in the indoor heated pool each day that was just for our cottage which was brilliant! There's a sauna which unfortunately due to covid we couldn't use. There is a games room with table football, air hockey & pool which is available for 1 cottage at a time also. It's a short 2min walk to the beach and maybe 10 to the local chippy & ice cream shop. The only recommendation I'd make is the inclusion of a clock in the pool area! Nicky was a fantastic site manager and was extremely helpful with any queries or requests we had. Counting down to our next visit!
