Close to the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which opens up never ending opportunities for great days out whether you are looking to relax on one of the many nearby sandy beaches, such as Saundersfoot or jump on a wildlife watching boat trip or have a go at some adrenaline water sports at Tenby. There are also attractive sandy beaches at Freshwater East and Freshwater West. Why not spend the day exploring the impressive Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII or relax in the tranquillity of Carew Castle with its huge mill pond, rich in wildlife. You are close to a selection of great family days out with Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton and Folly Farm being less than a 15 minute drive away. Slightly further afield, take a trip to the National Trust's Stackpole Estate or visit the Bosherston Lily Ponds, lovely all times of the year but particularly so in June. The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as boat trips and water sports or a round of golf in Tenby, fishing, and the whole area is criss-crossed with fantastic cycling and walking trails, with the coastal path offering a myriad of opportunities to walk spectacular ever changing landscapes. The Annexe at The Old Farm is a lovely retreat close to various quaint little villages and the popular county town of Pembroke, with a huge variety of days out within a short distance and the fabulous coast just a short drive away, making it suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year.

The village of Lamphey is situated just 2 miles from the town of Pembroke and offers a small shop and a traditional pub. Nearby Pembroke provides the perfect base from which to explore the spectacular, surrounding landscape, sandy beaches and beautiful estuaries. The popular resort of Tenby, with its challenging coastal golf course, Blue Flag awarded beaches and host of seaside amenities is worthy of the short,10 mile drive.
