Holiday cottage in grounds of Upton Castle Pembrokeshire - eco and dog friendly. Within 7 miles of renowned South Pembrokeshire coast.

Set deep in the woodlands amidst 35 acres of gardens surrounding Upton Castle this delightful newly renovated listed cottage is an oasis of calm and tranquillity with views over Upton Creek, part of Pembrokeshire's hidden waterway. A great central point for exploring South Pembrokeshire's world famous beaches and coast only 7 miles away.

With its own private acre garden on the edge of the tidal creek on the Carew River (an sssi), Creek Cottage guests also have access at all times to the Castle gardens (open to the public May - September).

Call at the Castle to be shown the way to the cottage. Access is by a hard surfaced lane through the woods and there is parking for up to 3 cars. Alternatively guests can park next to the castle and walk the 600 yards to the cottage.

The 18th century walled garden next to the castle has an abundant supply of produce in season (all grown without use of chemicals) and may be available free to guests.

The renovations to Creek Cottage have been carried out to a very high standard while retaining its charm. WiFi is available via Myfi. Off grid electricity (230v) is provided by eco-friendly renewable sources and the new wood-fired Rayburn in the dining room (wood provided free of charge) provides central heating. There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room. Hot water is supplied by solar panels supplemented by the Rayburn. In addition there is a gas cooker with oven and hob in the kitchen.

Accommodation

3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 5 adults (plus a folding bed for a child). 1 Double, 1 Twin and 1 Single.

Bathroom with bath (hand held shower over), toilet and washbasin. All on 1st floor.

Cloakroom with toilet and washbasin on ground floor.

Sitting Room with wood burning stove, sofa, comfortable chairs, lots of books and games, TV/DVD.

Dining Room new wood fired Rayburn (for cooking and hot water), stairs to 1st floor. Table and chairs seating 6.

Kitchen galley style, gas cooker with oven and hob, larder fridge (no ice box). Larder.

Grounds large 1/2 acre garden with lawns, garden furniture & access to Upton Castle Gardens - NB please supervise small children - ponds, streams, access to river etc.

Fuel - Central heating by wood fired Rayburn. Solar panels provide hot water topped up by Rayburn. Electricity supplied by eco friendly renewable sources. Logs provided free of charge.
