This lovely holiday cottage for two nestles at the foot of Carningli Mountain and is just a few minutes walk from Parrog beach, Estuary and the centre of Newport in Pembrokeshire.

This rather special cottage is a lovely place from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coast and Preseli mountains.

The cosy accommodation offers period charm and features whilst not compromising on comfort and modern conveniences, make it a perfect retreat for all seasons.

The garden is a particular feature of the property offering peace and quiet with a babbling stream beside and views up Carningli Mountain.

Newport is a thriving market town, with pubs, some great restaurants and eateries, individual shops and Post Office all within a very short walk.

Ground Floor

Front entrance into sitting/dining room with natural stone fireplace and woodburning stove. Old pine doors and furnishings complement the comfortable Laura Ashley two-seater sofa and carver chair, colour TV with DVD/CD player, ample books and area information, dining table and chairs.

The galley kitchen, is small but perfectly formed and is well fitted with modern storage cupboards, drawers, plate rack and shelving, gas cooker, microwave, fridge and washer/drier.

A door leads from the kitchen to the parking area and beyond to the garden.

The ground floor bathroom has a modern white suite of full bath with Aqualisa shower over, hand basin and WC.

Good sized ground floor bedroom with Laura Ashley cast iron double bed, with pretty co-ordinating linen and pine furniture.

First Floor

There is a traditional staircase leading from the sitting room to the 'Crog Loft' which has very limited headroom.

Garden and Parking

The large and very pretty cottage garden has a mountain stream running through, it adjoins open country, whilst its position offers a sheltered environment.

There are landscaped and natural areas in which to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings, with a garden bench, table and brick barbecue.

Off road parking for one car.

Other Information

Electricity and starter logs are provided.

Gas central heating is included in the rental from May to September and charged at £20 per week at all other times, please make payment at time booking.

No smoking please.

Bed linen and towels are included.

One small well behaved dog is welcome (needs to bring his/her own towel!).
