About this property

This is a lovely holiday lodge, set in an end position on the Heritage Park holiday site in Stepaside, near Kilgetty. With open views to the front, this lodge provides an ideal base for friends and family to relax and take a break from the day-to-day grind. This lodge boasts a wonderful, well-equipped kitchen with a central island and breakfast bar, ideal for grabbing a quick coffee in the morning to put a spring in your step for the day ahead. The whole group can enjoy meals around the dining table or perhaps, spread the map out and all gather around to see where to tick off during your break away. The sitting area is a wonderful space for catching up with your group or for gathering together in front of the cosy, modern, electric fire to watch a film before heading to bed in one of the two delightful bedrooms. The double room boasting an en-suite shower room and the twin room, a walk-in wardrobe. The main bathroom completes the accommodation and means there is plenty of space to everyone to get ready in the morning. The sitting area also has two sets of French doors out onto the decked veranda, the perfect spot for seeing out the last few rays of sunshine in the evening with a refreshing drink and enjoying the open aspect views over the site. Nearby is the town of Kilgetty where you'll find shops, a pub and restaurants to enjoy when you fancy a night off from the cooking. Wiseman's Bridge is only a mile away and has a beautiful, rocky beach for you and the children to explore and enjoy. The large village of Saundersfoot is also within easy reach, as is the popular, walled seaside town of Tenby. This holiday lodge is a wonderful holiday base and is set in an area you'll want to make the most of.

Once home to both coal and iron mines, Stepaside is now a holiday hamlet with a few houses pubs and restaurants. This valley was a hive of industrial activity from the 14th to the 19th century as it was an integral part of the Pembrokeshire coal field. It’s hard to imagine that now, as very little remains apart from the old ironworks at Stepaside and the railway tunnels between Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot.
