About this property

The Briars is a delightful annexe based in the village of Stepaside, 2 ½ miles from Saundersfoot. Set out as a designated wing of the owner’s home, this attractive annexe is a wonderful choice for couples looking to explore the South West of Wales. The open-plan living area has been renovated to a high-standard, featuring plenty of modern touches and smart features. Rustle up a feast from the high-spec kitchen which is fully-equipped with everything you could need during a week-long break, whilst the dining table is situated in the conservatory and offers a refreshing spot to enjoy your meals with the garden scenery in view. Look forward to unwinding in the sitting area, with a Laura Ashley sofa to sink into and a TV with Sky Q for all your entertainment choices. Head to the bedroom to find a king-size double bed and plenty of wardrobe space for your personal belongings, plus an en-suite shower room. Continuing to impress, outside there is a private hot tub to aid your relaxation after a day of rambling the Welsh outdoors. Less than a mile away is the village of Kilgetty which offers a supermarket, newsagents, takeaways and a pub. There is also a train station in the village which runs to Tenby, one of Wales’ premier coastal towns. Pembrokeshire’s beaches are some of the finest in Wales with sandy expanses, secret coves and rock pools, and the beach at Wiseman's Bridge is just a 5 minute walk away. This superb annexe is in a great location to enjoy all the delights of Pembrokeshire.

The holiday hamlet of Stepaside was once home to both coal and iron mines, but is now welcome tourists with pubs and restaurants. There are a range of beautiful beaches nearby, including Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot, while the breath-taking Pembrokeshire Coast National Path is also worth checking out. Take a boat trip to Cadley Island or to Skomer, famous for its puffins.

A pretty, short walk to the coast and to a good pub that served food.

The welcome gift of wine, Wales cakes and a pint of milk was a lovely gesture. We didn't use the hot tub but the idea of bath robes was a brilliant. We would definitely recommend this property. The area is beautiful and there is plenty to see.
