Freshwater East is a small coastal village popular for a family holiday with a beautiful sandy beach backed by low dunes and flanked by red sandstone cliffs. There is easy access on to the 186 mile National Park coastal path where the spectacular coastline scenery can be truly appreciated.  A short drive to the local beauty spots of Stackpole Quay with The award winning Gastro Pub, Lily pools at Bosherston, the beaches of, Manorbier often busy with surfing, .  Freshwater West where the Filming of Harry Potter (Dobbies burial) and Robin Hood (Russell Crowe) took place. Historic Pembroke is only four miles away, with its mill pond walk taking you around the walls of the medieval castle, look out for the many events that take place in the castle. Tenby and Saundersfoot are within an easy 30 minute drive with their Blue Flag beaches, a variety of shops and restaurants.

Large Shopping Centre with most of the major supermarkets, Tesco, Morrisons, and many other High Street shops, Debenhams, Next, Marks & Spencers, plus the Vue cinema.  Llanelli - Pembroke - 5.1 miles. Historic Town  with a selection of shops and restaurants, well maintained castle with many events held there . Tenby - 9.9 miles. Tenby has a mix of shops, and galleries.  It has also has a good variety of restaurants and pubs, and a number of boat trips from The Harbour for fishing, Island trips etc.  Visitor attractions - The local leisure attractions, Anna's Zoo, Heatherton Country Sports Park, Folly Farm & Zoo, and Ritec Valley buggies, are all within easy reach by car.
