It is located in the attractive South Pembrokeshire village of Lamphey, just two miles from Freswater East and its sandy beach. It is just 10 - 15 minutes from the further non-crowded sandy beaches of Manorbier and Barafundle. It is a great location for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. The village of Lamphey is perfect for those who want to really feel they are on holiday, with a selection of eateries, including the village pub and two more restauants. Lamphey also boasts an artisan bakery and a well-resourced shop, all a few minutes walk from Alderley. Sleeps up to 8 with a maximum of 5 adults.

Large entrance Hall/porch. Lounge/Dining room, 40" flat screen TV, DVD player, video and CD mini-system. The dining area has a feature dining table seating 8. Kitchen, fully fitted with ceramic hob & electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Utility Room with WC, wash basin, also includes washing machine and freezer, leading to Shower room. Bedroom 4, with double bed. Stairs to first floor: Master Bedroom, large room with double bed & TV. Bedroom 2, with 2 single beds and whb. Bedroom 3, with 2  single beds. Bathroom, with shower over the bath, whb and WC. Rent inclusive of electricity, gas and gas central heating. Highchair and travel cot provided. Duvets and bed linen provided. Non-smokers only. 3pm takeover. Towel Hire Available

Location

Lamphey lies on the ancient ridge route between Tenby and Pembroke. The name Lamphey goes back to the time when pioneering preachers were endeavouring to Christianise the area.  It is the site of what is left of the Bishops Palace, built in the 13th Century by the Bishops of St Davids. Buildings inhabited long before the 20th Century may still be seen; The Court House whose name describes one of its functions, Lamphey House (Malthouse today). Lamphey has much to offer - church, shop, garage, bakery, pub, restaurants, playground, tennis courts and squash courts to name but a few.
