"E. turn left off the A487 at the ' brown sign' and marked also to Caerchefell just before St Davids. We came from the other direction ( Havordfordwest ) where there is .exactly the same 'brown ' sign though not marked to Caerchefell as you leave Solva. We decided , in our wisdom, that is where we should turn right and ( luckily as it was daylight) managed to navigate down some country lanes to the cottage. This would have been tricky in the dark !!. It might be helpful if the directions from the South say " ignore first brown sign sited just after leaving Solva, carry on the A487 through St Davids and after approx. 3 miles turn right at 'brown sign' also marked Caerchefell." Hope this is helpful."
