One of our special, family-friendly holiday cottages in a wonderfully peaceful location in Scleddau, near Fishguard, this superb, detached cottage is sure to be one of the best you have ever stayed in! Tucked away from the main road at the end of a quieter, single lane track, within 23 acres of farmland which is occasionally used for grazing, this pretty cottage is set in a beautiful garden and accompanied by the relaxing sounds of a stream flowing along the edge of the garden, and the birds overhead. Park the cars and step into this welcoming cottage through the large porch, into the comfortable living room with its warming woodburner, large sofas to snuggle up on in front of the TV and a well-equipped kitchen. The dining room is perfect for family meals and French windows lead out to one of the secluded patios, so you can have fun eating outside on warm days. The underfloor heating throughout the ground floor of Church Cottage makes the four ground floor bedrooms really cosy in cooler months, and with two of the four ground floor bedrooms enjoying doors leading out onto further patios with seating areas they are also perfect for alfresco breakfasts. The ground floor double bedroom offers an en-suite and there is a family bathroom, a wet room and a utility room completing the ground floor. The master bedroom, with a king-size bed and comfy chairs, is a delightful room up the stairs and has another charming bathroom next to it, offering a private area to escape to and read or watch TV. An adjoining study area houses a desk and the WiFi router. In a spacious, comfortable cottage with such a pretty garden, family time will be the order of the day. Take countryside strolls from the door and relax by the stream in the garden, but make sure you don't miss out on the wonderful array of attractions available a short drive away. The cottage also benefits from two porches, one of which is large and ideal for storing wet coats and boots after your enjoyable stroll. Visit the nearby craft shops and a beautiful nature walk, discover the spectacular Welsh coastline with its sandy beaches, hidden coves and coastal path, take boat trips to bird islands or take the ferry for a day out to Ireland. Your time here can be as busy or as relaxing as you wish, and returning to this outstanding cottage will top your day. A perfect cottage for all ages, all year round!

Fishguard is located on the Pembrokeshire Coast, which has been voted the second best coastal destination in the world according to the National Geographic magazine. Lower Fishguard Harbour is a delight for sailing enthusiasts.
