"This property has recently been added - customer comments will appear here soon."

"Very convenient and suitable for our requirements. The occupant of the small bedroom was disturbed very early on several mornings, apparently by deliveries below and people talking. No one else was disturbed by this and everything else was very satisfactory."

"The mattresses were very bad. My daughter had to sleep in the sofa and the other we did not make it well."

"great private place to stay for a short holiday in Crickhowel, which is a fantastic hub for making walking journeys around Brecon Beacons"
    Ian
"Great, well located flat with lovely facilities and a nice welcome basket."

"Nicely refurbished apartment in the town centre. Well equipped and comfortable. The only negative for us was the lights from the pedestrian crossing that illuminated the main bedroom during the night through the cream curtains!"
    Sarah
"Beautifully furnished and decorated, most well equipped and fabulous welcome pack milk, tea, coffee, sugar, fresh fruit, locally sourced Welsh cakes, fudge and farm bottled apple juice. Crickhowell is perfectly located for exploring the Brecons. Would recommend rowing, walking and bird hide at Llangors Lake, Dragonfly canal tours in Brecon, Roman baths, museum and ampitheatre in Caerleon. Great walks from Crickhowell too. Nice art exhibition above the tourist information where wifi is also available."

"Fantastic place to stay. Lovely views, beautiful interior, quick access to lots of tourist destinations. The only problem was cooking on the hob, for some reason turning one ring up turned the others down so you can only boil one thing at once. But all together a fantastic place to stay."

"We were delighted with the welcome pack on our arrival. The location and venue of the apartment at Pleasant View was perfect. We managed to explore the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons at leisure and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The week we stayed was the same week as the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and traffic increased in Crickhowell. We would recommend staying at Crickhowell and enjoying excellant food in the Bear Hotel and afterward watching the cricket from an arm chair, Pims too!"

"The accommodation is perfect for a young family. Crickhowell and the surrounding countryside is beautiful and the people are friendly, helpful and welcoming."

"A bright, comfortable, well equipped apartment which exceeded our expectations. My only negative comments are:It is close to a road (not a huge problem but they set roadworks outside on our second day, which caused a lot of traffic noise with the lights outside our window). This wasn't the fault of course, but it simply means it is not a perfectly quiet, country setting. The bed in the main bedroom is a Double. The room is easily large enough far any size bed and a King would be better, particularly for tall guests such as me.That is it, on the moaning, though it would be a plus if the place had wi-fi. The mobile signal is very poor in this area and a connection would be most useful these days.Otherwise the place is well equipped, spacious, clean, tasteful and comfortable. We woulkd certainly stay here again"

"Very pleased with the holiday. Wished we could have stayed longe"

"We enjoyed the extra's of maps and walk books, the opportunity to do circular walks from the house a bonus. Good central location with plenty of pubs and eating places. Beautiful countryside to visit, Hay on Wye, Abergavenny for me would be a definite re-visit, lots more places we didn't have time to visit. So a return is a possibility.Would recommend for any couple.Contacted by owner with directions etc, prior to visit, which was a nice touch even though we booked through agency."

"Only very brief visit , less than 48hours but will definitely try to arrange a longer visit later in the year"

"We went fora weekend, family of 4, and was totally blown away, absolutely lovely flat, would move in tomorrow, everything is well thought out and well catered for. Would happily come back and stay again. The only draw back was sharing a double bed with my husband! The kids loved it too. Thank you very much."

"Lovely, well-equipped, comfortable flat with great views in a brilliant location. This was our third stay here in 12 months. My only complaint is that the windows let in a lot of the road noise and might benefit from being replaced with double-glazing and the curtains in the bedroom are unlined and fail to keep the light out. Other than this minor gripe, it's a cracking flat and we shall undoubtedly be back."

"Loved the flat and location. In my opinion the windows need replacing with double glazing as it's a very busy road."
    Sarah
"We had a fantastic time with our 2 small children. It was a lovely apartment done to a really high standard (the photo's don't really do it justice) and well equipped. The welcome pack was really generous and very thoughtful. The village is lovely and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. There seems to be a lot to do in the area and we had some great walks along the river. We are definitely looking at booking up again sometime next year "
    Isabelle
"Fantastic apartment. Very well equiped. Welcome pack well appreciated. "
    Rosie
"We were thrilled with the the accommodation. A lot of thought and care had been put into equipping and furnishing the flat . It was spotlessly clean and generously provided for. The small touches, like sachets of washing liquid and dishwasher tablets meant we did not have to rush out and buy extras. The welcome pack was also generous and a bowl of fruit beats a bottle of cheap wine any day.We live in a very rural area in Spain and wanted to be in a small town with access to the local shops etc. So the location was perfect for us. There is early morning noise from traffic and the post vans but we enjoyed feeling part of the town.Lovely local shops and pubs and fabulous countryside in easy walking distance.."

"Pleasant View was surprisingly spacious. We found it very comfortable and well equiped. It was very easy to feel at home. We greatly enjoyed our holiday in Crickhowell and were able to do a lot of walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside. "
    Beth
"This was our second holiday at Pleasant View this year and the children are already asking when we will return. A fantastic, comfortable, well-equipped and superbly located flat, Pleasant View provides the ideal base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and Crickhowell itself is delightful. I've no doubt we will be back again soon!"
    Vikki
"Great location, beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment. The village is lovely with surprisingly good shops. My only issues would be that traffic can be a little noisy and the lack of parking on site meant I had to park a few minutes walk away but it wasn't really a problem. "
