"The cottage was beautiful and very spacious, great safe garden for the dog. The location was great for visiting the Abergavenny Food festival. The only downside was the traffic noise throughout the night, this was manageable for a short stay but more than 3 nights would be unbearable due to lack of sleep."

"Lovely cottage, lots of equipment, fabulous garden, however the only downside was the road outside and traffic noise."

"Lovely cottage but the road was very busy at all hours which we hadn't expected."

"We had 3 dogs with us, so being so close to the road was a bit of a worry getting in & out of cars, but the garden was secure and the cottage was lovely. The dogs loved the garden and the woods behind the house."

"Fantastic stay at the White House, highly recommended and extremely well equipped house."

"Good base. Lovely garden, well equipped. Homely."

"The cottage is generally well provided with a well appointed kitchen. The fridge had an ice making facility ( very popular). The spacious lounge gives way to a light and airy conservatory. No downstairs toilet.Upstairs has a twin bedroom. A double bedroom and separate bathroom. A double bedroom with an en-suite.This bedroom has the only serious criticism - it has a water bed. These can be difficult to get out of. The edges are hard and it is, in our opinion, impractical. The cottage is situated on a main road which needs great care when driving off of the premises."

"White house is a charming cottage about 2.5 miles from Usk in South Wales.Lovely gardens, and quite secure for your Dog.Lots of local attractions and ''Big Pit'' is a must for anyone interested in Mining History, wonderful experience. Unfortunately, White House is on an extremely busy main road, and we found it hard to get a good nights sleep. That is the only reason I would not use again."

"Garden need some attention. It was a pity that the cottage was near a very, very busy road."
