With footpaths leading to the Menai Straits and the Wales Coastal Path you can enjoy long walks, taking in your surrounding scenery. Why not visit the medieval castle of Caernarfon for an interesting day out? Spend a day at one of the stunning sandy beaches nearby, or visit Plas Menai National Watersports Centre with an indoor swimming pool as well as a wide range of activities to choose from including sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and mountain biking. Y Felinheli, is situated on the beautiful Menai Straits between the historic town of Caernarfon and the city of Bangor. Visitors are spoilt for choice, with stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey easy reach.
