Positioned just two miles from the royal, coastal town of Caernarfon, this heart-warming retreat promises a warm welcome anytime of the year. A wonderful stone fireplace houses a lovely woodburning stove and the contrast with the Parkay-style flooring, redbrick and exposed stone really is quiet striking. A simple country style kitchen provides everything you will need with a comfy dining area for enjoying a family meal together. Upstairs, more exposed stone and wonderful stripped floorboards and three bedrooms with comfy beds and crisp linen. A modern shower room completes this lovely holiday cottage. Outside, there is a rear patio area with furniture and a garden for the children to play in. This is a wonderful location for touring Snowdonia, the Isle of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The area around here provides stunning scenery, beautiful beaches, and a huge variety of outdoor activities including horse riding, climbing, walking, mountain biking, water sports and excellent fishing and golf, this property sits on cycling route 61 perfect access to to the mountains. There are lots of walks to enjoy from the cottage, each taking in some wonderful scenery along the way, and within a few miles you can enjoy a day on the beautiful Blue-Flag beach at Dinas Dinlle. For the children, Gypsywood family park is close by and provides a great day out and is well worth a visit. The town of Caernarfon is just two miles, visit the majestic castle or simply explore the good range of shops, cafés and restaurants, there is plenty to choose from, including a journey on the Welsh Highland Railway, where you can travel through some of the most splendid Welsh countryside to Beddgelert and the harbour town of Porthmadog, highly recommended. There is something for everyone and Erw Cynrug is a great base anytime of the year.

This small village is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, 2 miles from Caernarfon. It boasts a couple of handy amenities, whilst the town of Caernarfon has its 13th Century castle, well-preserved town walls and attractive waterfront. There are also sea-fishing trips off the coast of Anglesey. Enjoy an array of outdoor activities including climbing, walking, mountain biking, watersports and golf.
