Just a short walk away is Tywyn High Street with all amenities, including a health centre, swimming pool and gym, good restaurants, cafés, pubs, and many independent shops as well as two supermarkets.

It is also only a short walk to the beach, which is sandy apart from at high tide, and from here you can watch spectacular sunsets and regularly spot dolphins. Dogs are allowed on the beach from the slipway and towards Aberdyfi throughout the year, and beneath the promenade off-season. For the fit and able there are plenty of coastal and mountain walks. Tywyn is on the Welsh coastal path and Cader Idris is only a short drive away. Beach ½ mile.
