Tillman dates back to the early 1900s and has been stylishly updated to restore some of its original features. Conveniently located just moments from the beach, and the centre of Tywyn it is the perfect bolthole.
The property is well suited for families, a group of friends or up to four couples, and there is a view of Cader Idris from the front of the house.
If you’re hoping to visit and relax by the seaside it is an idyllic spot to call home away from home. This modern and elegantly furnished house benefits from five beautiful bedrooms, spread across two floors and three bathrooms. There are two living rooms, both with Smart TV’s and loads of comfortable seating for everyone, with the second being a snug to enjoy some quiet time or a nice book. The open plan kitchen and dining area is the focal point where everyone can enjoy mealtimes and each other whilst sharing adventures created during the day. Outside is an enclosed garden at the back of the property with a large picnic table to relax and soak up some sunshine.
Nestled on the beautiful Welsh coastline, look forward to spending the day at Tywyn beach, with its expansive golden sands. Tywyn beach is popular for all types of board sports, it is a great swimming beach, and the children will be happy for hours playing. With a wide variety of independent shops, restaurants, a cinema and cafés to choose from, Tywyn itself is a thriving seaside town and has something for everyone! The Wales Coastal Path passes through Tywyn and there are some good walks taking in the views of Cardigan Bay along with Snowdonia and the Cambrian Mountains to the south. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even be lucky enough to spot some dolphins. The property is also within walking distance of a train station.
Venture out into the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and explore one of the trails, for walking, cycling, hiking and even mountain biking. For the more adventure seekers, Cader Idris is the highest mountain in southern Snowdonia and is a popular peak to conquer.
For a fun activity for everyone why not visit Talyllyn Railway. The journey itself crosses more than seven miles of spectacular scenery within sight of one of Britain’s highest mountains, Cadair Idris. The journey takes 55 minutes up the line from Tywyn through the ancient woodlands and meadows of the Fathew Valley. En route keep your eyes peeled for Red Kites, Cormorants, Barn Owl, Redstart, Peregrine Falcons, Wheatear, Linnet and Little Owl. The cosy covered and open carriages provide the best of comfort and views as you travel up the line. There’s Bird Rock close by, Dolgoch Falls, and the Mawddach all very close.
