A 10 minute drive will take you into Snowdonia or to the beach and there are plenty of attractions and opportunities for outdoor activities in this popular area of North Wales.

The cottage was really lovely, everything we were expecting and more. Marie-Ann and Paul are the perfect hosts, so passionate about what they do and this shows throughout, including the generous welcome pack. A personal message from them the day before we arrived was a special touch. The location perfect with lots of freedom to explore the grounds of the Manor, (our little dog loved it) quiet and full of wildlife, woodland, streams and plants. Booking with Original Cottages was faultless, we were kept informed at every stage of our trip and we will definitely use them again in the future and hope to return to The Bothy too.

The Bothy was part of Wern Manor which has a few accommodation options. It’s an amazing building and the owners were really friendly and welcoming. The Bothy was spacious, with lots of facilities. It’s close to the beach which was fantastic, as well as easy access to Snowdon, Zip World, trains and other shops and activities in/around Porthmadog. Two very happy teenage boys and their parents. Thank you very much!
