A lovely stone holiday cottage tucked away in a quiet hamlet not far from the village of Llanystumdwy. With a woodburning stove, comfy sofas and plenty of space to spread out, this is a cottage makes a great base for a family holiday.

Accommodation is across three floors.

Step into an inviting hallway. Understairs space for outdoor gear and footwear.

The sitting room is attractively furnished with wood burning stove, comfy sofas, smart TV, DVD and iPod/Pad dock.

The stylish kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric oven and hob and toaster. The dining area is to one end of the room with a table and benches to seat all guests. A large utility room sits at the other end of the kitchen, equipped with washing machine and microwave. And bifold doors open out onto a decked seating area and gravelled garden.

The single ground floor bedroom is ensuite with shower, wash hand basin and loo.

Upstairs are four stunning bedrooms. On king, one double and one with full sized bunk beds. All beautifully decorated.

The spacious family bathroom houses bath with mixer attachment, electric shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

The top floor snug is accessed up a set of steep alternating tread stairs. This is a super grown-up space with squishy bean bag chairs, flatscreen TV and DVD.

Outside is an enclosed well-sized gravelled garden with pretty pots and a large decked area with rattan garden furniture for outside dining and sitting out. And there’s a handy outbuilding where you can store bikes, kayaks and outdoor gear.

Off road parking with space for three cars.

Llanystumdwy is just a short drive from Criccieth, Porthmadog and Pwllheli. It is also the birthplace of David Lloyd George and you can visit the local museum to learn more about him. Dwyfor Rabbit Ranch Farm and Animal Park, the Bear Grylls survival academy and Dragon Raiders paintballing are all nearby.

This quaint little village rests in the beautiful Eifonydd region, which covers the south-eastern part of the Llyn Peninsula from Porthmadog to the eastern fringes of Pwllheli. Positioned in the Welsh county of Gwynedd, there are opportunities to explore one of the most scenic regions of Wales, with plenty of attractions in driving distance. As well as its sweeping countryside, littered with stone circles and various menhirs, the village is noted for its holy well, Ffynnon Gybi, a lovely part of local myth and tradition. The bustling market town of Pwllheli offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with an impressive marina holding 400 boats. Sailing and watersports are on offer at its famous Blue Flag beach and you also have the Llyn Coastal Path winding its walk along an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A lot of the coastline is owned by the National Trust providing many remote bays and sandy beaches. For walking and sightseeing, Snowdonia offers a plethora of outdoor activities and notable sites worth a visit. There are several heritage steam railways - the Ffestiniog, Welsh Highland, Llanberis Lakeside and Snowdonia Mountain, for days out with the whole family. For those who love history, there are the castles of Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon within easy reach. This is the ideal holiday destination for all ages to enjoy!

Bi-folding doors to large decked seating area & the gravelled garden.

Snug with TV and DVD.

Good sized garden.

Wifi, smart TV and DVD, iPod dock, ben linen and towels provided, hairdryer, wood burning stove, bike/canoe storage, books and games, travel cot (no linen), high chair, enclosed garden, garden furniture.

Off road parking for 3.

The snug on the 2nd floor may not be suitable for the very young or elderly due to the steep alternating tread staircase, initial supply of logs supplied.

Note: From 2022 the occupancy for this house is 6 the bunk beds will be replaced by a single bed, please ask if you have any questions before booking
