Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage clean and well-presented. However, there were some concerns about a smell of damp in the bathroom, a dirty frying pan, and the need for a more thorough cleaning in some areas, which slightly affected the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful rural setting, and proximity to local attractions. The stunning views and peaceful environment are consistently mentioned as highlights, contributing to a high score for location.

Guests describe the cottage as comfortable, homely, and cosy, with a warm welcome. Some minor issues with shower fixtures and kitchen units were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the overall comfort of the stay.

The property offers a range of facilities, including toys and outdoor space for children. However, guests reported maintenance issues such as a problematic shower, outdated appliances, and a need for improvements in the children's play area, leading to a moderate score in this category.

While the reviews reflect the hosts' attentiveness and the family-friendly nature of the property, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The cottage is equipped with the majority of things you need, however there was an absence of a few things like a dust pan and brush, which I couldn't find. There was a hoover shared by the 3 cottages in the block which we shared with the other guests staying, we have 2 very hairy dogs so it would have been handy if each cottage had their own. A couple of dish washer tablets would have been handy although there was some washing up liquid. We were concerned however about the fixing of the front door, which requires some remedial work.

We will definitely be back. The only criticisms we could make are the kitchen units were in poor condition and could do with new doors and the shower head holder was at an angle that meant it was very difficult to use. Oh and the bolt on the stable door was a spoon. They are minor things but relatively cheap and easy to rectify and would make a great property into an even more amazing one.
