This property is a little gem ! Perfect location, just a minute to the lovely beach and five minutes walk around the harbour to the village. Lots of room for four adults, lots of comfortable furnishings and spotlessly clean. Having en-suites to both bedrooms was an added bonus. The outside space is fantastic with 4 very comfortable loungers which we made the most of. Booking was easy and we were provided with lots of information. We were very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend both the house and Original Cottages .

We arrived on the Wednesday and there was no hot water or heating - I reported straight away to maintenance who informed me somebody would come and repair which I explained was fine as we were going to go out anyway. Somebody arrived at the property later that evening to repair.. Thursday morning we were again without hot water and heating - I reported at 9am to be told the engineer would be with us in a couple of hours. This meaning the accommodation was cold and we were unable to wash. 11:30am still no engineer we wasted a whole morning of our only full day in Abersoch. We had lunch reservation for 1pm so we had to use pans of boiling water to wash, I was quite annoyed that it was impossible for me to wash my hair and had to attend lunch this way, I also had an Aunt with me who suffers with mobility issues due to chronic arthritis so this was no ideal, not to mention the plug does not work in the double bedroom so that sink was no use for this. Arrived back after lunch at 4pm to freshen up properly and there was still no heating or hot water. Sent another message to maintenance to be told he would be there in 30 mins, he finally arrived at 5:10pm to resolve the issue. I am usually very laid back and do not complain about anything and if the issue was only the first night this would not be necessary however, I feel Heating and running hot water is a basic and due to the fact we were only there for 2 nights this did interrupt and spoil our short trip a little. On a final note I do think the check in and out times are slightly off, a 5pm check in is quite late but not the end of the world but then asking people to check out at 9am doesn't seem right, it is usually one or the other. 3pm check in 9am check out 5pm check in 11am check out Other that the above issues the property was nice & in a great location. Please contact me to discuss my booking ref is 5897357 Many Thanks,
